Tanto Cuore: Oktoberfest

It is exactly what we've come to expect from Tanto Cuore, a good deckbuilding game with good mechanics. This game introduces the Beer mechanic, a new way to get victory points. It has a few too many cards that give you multiple actions (2), but I think if you mixed it with the base set it would even out.

This game is great! At first, the rules seem pretty complicated, but it's easier than you think. As soon as you set it up, it starts making sense. The rulebook is very clear and well written- easy to understand and an easy read. It's full of examples and descriptions of even the simplest things.

Great fun.Good game to play and to watch people's reactions when you bring it out.

Eh...You never get to the Oktoberfest part of the game with just this box set. Beer cards are almost impossible to get because of the fast pace if the game. If you don't get beer cards then the sabotage cards are totally useless. I'm waiting on the original set so I can mix play with both sets and see if it's better. Will update!

A good old laugh.

The best Tanto Cuore set of them all. Better than Dominion. The beer cards make for a very interesting game. The anime maid art in this edition is a bit cleaner than others, it would make a great gift for dad.
