Highwaymen Newton & Hair - The American Dream in the Sunshine State Paperback – January 1, 2006

I am a big fan and collector of the Highwaymen. This book contains the best collection of reproductions of their work and rightfully concentrates on the work of Harold Newton and Alfred Hair, with samplings of some of the other greatest artists of this group like Roy McLendon, Willie Daniels, Livingston Roberts, Sam Newton, and Mary Ann Carroll.

Really like this book. Focusing solely on 2 of the Highwaymen artists, Newton and Hair. I'm a big fan of any Highwaymen art and was happy to have bought this book.

The boo is a glorious exploration of two masters of the Highwaymen, Newton and Hair. Monroe has written many books on them and has a solid knowledge of the artists and their work. The reproductions are beautiful, frame-worthy even.
