JMD 900 ML Traveller's 100% Pure Copper Hammered Water Bottle,Joint Free

We have copper in our bodies. There is some evidence to suggest when we handled pennies, we absorbed elemental copper - we don't handle pennies anymore. I am sure there are other sources, but that's really the reason I bought this bottle. It can't hurt, anyway, but I assure you I'm not an essential oils, crystals or otherwise fanatical. I just wanted a copper water bottle. But people: COPPER CORRODES - it just does, like silver. So it won't stay shiny unless you polish it. I read somewhere that ketchup polishes it up nicely, with some elbow grease - I assume the acidity is the catalyst for the action, but I've never tried it. I just beg of you to not get all in a twist about marks and discolouration. Copper is also a relatively soft metal, so if there is leakage it is because it isn't necessarily a metal of choice for fine machining, such as threads. I personally don't care - this isn't the bottle I am going to pack along on a camping trip and throw in my kayak or a backpack.Likewise a coppery taste. Yes there will be a coppery tastes, as it is made from copper, which ionizes and oxidizes. This is merely chemistry and the reason you will obtain micronutrients through its use. It's better than a pill, because it's natural. The item arrived with a bit of a chemical smell - I am guessing something applied to prevent corrosion during storage and transport. It has washed off with dishsoap and rinsing with hot water.There are other copper water bottles available for a lot more money than this one but I felt this was a great deal and it's beautiful. Copper is stunning and a little elbow grease maintains the shine, though nothing like the elbow grease required to keep silverware from blackening :-)Enjoy the item, and allow for the realities of chemistry.

Great bottle!! I LOVE IT and will NEVER go back to plastic or glass. Only issue I have is the rubber seal ring sometimes rolls up funny when closing the lid and then isn't water tight (and safe to put in a backpack).

I decided to write this review because I've read some complaints about bottles not arriving in the best condition. My bottle is perfect in every way, no scratches, dents, discolouring or odour. I rinsed it, filled it and in the morning I had lovely sweet water. It has a wide mouth, the top is a perfect fit and because it has a firm rubber seal, when I turned it upside down not a drop leaked. If this changes with time I'll edit my review. I chose the hammered version, although personally I prefer the plain, because I knew that with use it would scratch and dent but it would be less noticeable. It is what was described by the seller.

Product is damaged in many ways also very dirty I am very disappointed!! Don't trust don't buy.. don't waste your money!!

I love the look and the taste of this bottle but unfortunately the lid doesn't go on great. The seal doesn't work well and little water droplets would bubbly out just sitting there. So close to being awesome. Super disappointed.
