Gnats like them
I gave 2 stars for durability but it might be their downfall since these pots don't seem to allow my plants to drain completely like vivosun or smart pots. Their heavy duty material may be why it's not allowing water to wick out after feeding. The run off from my vivosun and smart pot containers are done about 30mins after feeding, I may get a bit leaking out after I dump the trays but it usually re-absorbs back into the pot within 2-3hrs. The hydrofarm dirt pots seem to never stop leaking, even after dumping the run off out of the trays 3 times I'll still have run off in the trays again by morning and my plants do not like this at all. In fact I have gotten a Gnat infestation but only in my plants in the hydrofarm dirt pots. My other pots are fine because the top dressing dries faster.

Great pot for transport
Used this to transport a ficus across the country. Ficus is 8' tall, and had to be positioned horizontally to fit in the mini van. This allowed us to close up the top of the pot, and still allowed the roots to breathe. We wartered the ficus before, during and after the trip and the pot didn't leak. Great sturdy pot, that would work if you have to constantly move greenery.

Overall pretty good, maybe consider using darker fabric instead.
These are a good bit sturdier and thicker than most of the black-fabric planters I've used. I'm not necessarily sure that 'thicker is better' in terms of the roots being able to grow through to be air-pruned, but they're certainly durable enough to be re-used. I did have a slight issue with some algae building up on the farbic, which I believe is due to the light color of the material. I think if it were black the algae wouldn't grow as much, and would help block light from getting inside.. but it wasn't a huge issue, I sprayed it with a water and hydro-peroxide mix, and draped some black fabric over the outside (but not too snug so the roots wouldn't have another layer to grow through). If you do wrap a dark layer around like I did, be sure to occassionally remove it so the light and air will hit whatever roots grew through and thus be self-pruned.Please click the yes button below if you found this helpful. Thanks!

Great product. Wrong picture.
The picture shown here is wrong, but the product is actually better! The 45 gallon tan bag I got has four handles, and they help a lot because the pot can get really heavy when fully loaded. This bag checks all the boxes: tan color to keep the roots cool, tall, and not insanely expensive. The material and seam lines look sturdy, but I'm not sure about durability yet. I'm not going to bother you about all the details why a growing bag is better for your trees' long term health than a solid container.

20 gallon is quite large!
Just opened my package, I ordered 2x 20 gallon sized. They are much bigger than I expected but I planted 2 blueberry shrubs into 1 so it'll do I guess. I'll try to post a photo with my hand for measure and a large water bottle for measure.

I don't like how cloth bags wobble around and disturb the root ball when you lift these up and move them around. When I watered the soil, the water just ran straight through down the sides and leaked out quickly from the bottom of the bag. Maybe if you put these in aluminum trays they could work. I've been using mine as a garbage can on the balcony. Maybe I could buy 2 bigger ones and use them as reusable grocery bags.

Not too bad
Seems like it doesn’t ventilate the best, but it does okay. I gave it 4 stars because it’s definitely not the best fabric pit on the market, but it will do it if you’re not looking for an expensive, quality fabric pot. There are also water stains all down the sides of the pot so it looks a little gross.

Great Drainage! Never Over Water
This fabric pot is Amazing, and to say something’s ive figured out is, you’ll lees atleast two people to move it once full or just pull it around, most likely last pot you’d be able to easily move with one person. Filled the bottom of the pot with gravels and added soil, which is perfect for drainage!

These are fantastic! They help plants to develop beautiful root systems ...
These are fantastic! They help plants to develop beautiful root systems and make better more efficient use of the space the roots have. I will actually be going down to 1 or 2 gallon pots since I have been wasting soil. Certain plants can actually perform better in a smaller pot sometimes since they fill the pot better with roots, at least in these pots. In a traditional pot you need to pot up your plants accordingly so they can develop a root system in a set space, that will grow out from the whole mass with each potting up as long as the roots have grown enough between up potting. With these pots however, I am able to get away with simply starting in 4" peat pots (in plastic cups at first to protect the early roots from the light and drying out). Then once a root system has begun to establish itself it can go straight into the 3 gallon pot without problems, or stalling while roots develop, granted they will seem to slow down a little bit above ground, but after 2 weeks, they will have their roots established and the growth above ground will explode given adequate light, water, fresh air and nutrientsIve had a few of these go through a couple full cycles now, and they are still holding together strong! I was quite impressed with their durability given that they are made from recycled material. Its a bit of a pain to get all the roots out after, the roots really get in there! (but thats the whole point of the pot after all right) I thought the idea of root pruning was stupid until I witnessed the results of some passive root pruning like is done by these, now I see that circling roots at the bottom of the pot isnt necessarily a good thing as it is indicative of a large portion of soil simply going untouched by roots. When you think about how roots grow (down, then out) this is a positive thing in that it makes larger amounts of food and water available to the plant. Nowadays though, with all the indoor gardening and "in pot" gardening of today the roots dont really need to behave that way, its actually in our best interest to convince the roots to grow down to the edge, and then shoot outwards from that point convexed back toward the plant and empty soil space. Many of the larger roots we see actually arent responsible for the uptake and absorbtion of water and nutrients, its actually the smaller more webbed "feeder" roots (sorta like our capillaries vs veins) that do a bulk of the absorption, by amassing a large amount of surface area for which the root can make contact with the substrate.

Bought in 2015! It's now 2022. Great !
7 years in. Still holding strong. I handle broke on one of my 2 pots (seam broke. Likely our fault... was dropping the pot. This is very heavy when full. These are huge!) . Grown potatoes etc. Still great. Everything worked well.

what I find really annoying about this product is that it's hard to determine the size (perhaps on the description they could indicate what is the height and what is the width (the description only has numbers it doesn't say which one is-which one is width). The spot is much wider than it is high, tthis is going to make it difficult to wash Coco Coir growing media (often used in hydroponic gardens). If this were shaped more like a pail I would give it a higher rating. I will keep it for now but it will be awkward to use. Please make one that is taller than it is wide.

they are too useful every where else in the garden as a carry ...
purchased to plant tomatoes against a very bright sunny wall where digging was impossible ...unfortunately they have not made it yet ...they are too useful every where else in the garden as a carry all ...light weight sturdy stay upright even when empty and can go into the smallest spaces where a wheel;barrow would be useless and take up no space at all for storage ...and did I say strong ...a great purchase ;-)

size of bag
Great bag but perhaps I should have realised that they were 15 US gallons, quite a bit smaller than what I had incorrectly assumed as Imperial gallons. My error but since you deal internationally, it may be useful that such be indicated
