fantastic art and honest story
This book helped me better understand the inside of the mania of people I love as well as what it feels like to have the label of bipolar disorder. But it’s more than that too. A worthwhile read.

smart and engaging story
A perfect balance of lightness and heaviness. While you laugh, you understand the strength and effort it takes to face a mental illness. I strongly recommend this book.

Creative look into mental helth
Fascinating insight into the other side. Seeing the world from this perspective changed my view, and could change yours as well. I'm not a "graphic novel' type person, but the pictures here really really do tell a story that is needed (and clever as well). The combination of the art and copy really do show the powerful message to its fullest.

Great, albeit brief, depiction of bipolar disorder
As a bipolar sufferer I found this book as a validation of my own feelings about the illness. It is a very concise glimpse into the world of mania and the struggle between being willingly medicated or being full-on manic depressive.

Interesting and accurate depiction of bipolar disorder
I was recently diagnosed as bipolar, and I've been reading memoirs by others with this mental illness. I've read this book twice since purchasing it, and I've had my husband and mother read it, too. It really resonated with me. A very accurate depiction of a manic bipolar episode!
