I am unfortunately highly disappointed in this tea infuser because after receiving it I gave it to my roommate as a gift for her birthday. Only two days later I was with her and she had recently poured some hot water and was letting the tea steep. Momentarily, the glass exploded shattering everywhere. I was mortified considering this was the second time she ever used it, but also because I essentially gave her a ticking time bomb of a birthday gift which is extremely dangerous and could have shattered as she was drinking it. Its unbelievable that it could not handle hot water which it is entirely intended for.

Love everything about this tumbler except the thin glass. It shattered within the first week of use.

It actually shattered when I was using it for tea in the a.m. - pretty scary!

Received item at a discount to review product. Was very impressed with quality of it. I make sun tea and this is perfect for using either loose tea or teabags to infuse flavors. It will be perfect to steep concentrated flavors and then transfer to a pitcher when finished infusing. I'm not sure how it would work with other applications though as it is a small container for single servings. Easy to use, easy clean up, and very high quality product. Only negative is that I wish it were a bit bigger to hold a larger volume of liquid as most containers today using infusers are larger.

It's hard to find a glass water bottle that isn't ugly. This one is cute. Even with the infuser in it. It's perfect for my cucumber waters. Seals well. And it's double walled so it doesn't sweat like you'd think it would. Ice stays dozen for a long time.I did get a discount to review this product. But I honestly love it.
