Went on really well, works great
I have an 2002 Protege5 wagon and the original was deteriorating after 21 years. This product was wide enough and long enough for me to lay the old heatshield over it and use a sharpie to outline it. I used a fresh razor blade to cut it and it was easy. I aligned the holes I made for the oem stickers and it went on pretty good. Just take your time, it is not coming off easy. It's nice and thick too and kills engine noise. Love it.

Good stuff!
Made a real difference in sound reduction. Not drastic, these and other products like it have limitations but it was noticeable. Very sticky back so that made it easy to apply. Very lightweight compared to other products, so that's a real plus. I used it on the ceiling because it's so lightweight.

Adhesion is top notch
I bought the smaller pieces to make it easier for me to put up on my ProMaster City cargo van, since I'm doing the job by myself. It worked out fantastic! The pieces for snuggly between the roof ribs.Be careful to place them where you want... Once they are put in place, it will be impossible to pull them off🙃I need more, so I'm buying the roll this time. I'll use a box knife to cut the sizes I need. This is a quality product

Good sound deadening, poor for insulation.
Half-way done insulating muh van and I notice that its already warmer and quieter inside. The foam does expand a few more mil once the adhesive paper backing is removed, and the same can rip if you peal it back too fast. The sheets come folded. Only real complaint is that the seller/distrib cuts the sheets from rolls rather carelessly, requiring the use of a right-angle something-rather to get precise cuts. Dunno if it'll hold up, but so far so good. One layer seems to do the trick :)Update:First review was written during winter and install covered wheel wells and gas cap well, including underneath the hood, the floor of the cab area, and the front doors underneath the molding. After installing a fiberglass camper shell, I tried to insulate the roof. Seemed to work untill the sun came out and my van became an oven inside! Noticed some bubbling, glue was detaching due to the sunlight separating it from the smooth fiberglass epoxy underneath, and with the unbearable heat, knew that I needed to remove it all. Took a plastic spreader and scraped it all off. Then took isopropyl alcohol and a scouring pad to remove the left over foam and glue. Took too long, so I busted out the heat gun and the left over foam began to smolder. Tar!!! Its tar foam!!! So, in a ventilated area I had to smolder and scour the gunk off the roof. Took almost a week!!! Got off as much as I could and went the frame/xps route. Successfully salvaged muh camper top!Good for soundproofing shaded areas, but that's it. Tar soaks up heat, and the mylar facing traps it...

Fantastic!!!
I bought a couple of rolls from this seller when then they first came on line about a month ago. They came a couple of days later folded up in a bag and boxed so you won’t receive a roll like in the pic. The size I had was 21.53sf and once unfolded it is huge. it will have creases, no big deal I placed in the sun for about 30 minutes while I wiped down all the interior panels with panel prep. I installed this in a Dodge Ram, floor board, roof and back wall and it went on with no problems, the paper backing pulled of nicely and once on, its on. I would wear some gloves because it is super sticky and thick and will leave a little bit of the foam on your fingers. I noticed that the truck is quieter but all in all great stuff. I will be buying more to put on the hood to quiet down the engine noise.

many uses
Love the heat shield mat. I purchased the mat to insulate my cat house so my cats stay warmer in the winter and so far so good. I Recommend for many different projects not just for sound deadening but can be used for other creative uses. cheryl

Wonderful stuff for a decent price
I used this on my firewall, after first putting on a layer of the sound absorbing thin sticky mat stuff. I put 2 layers on of this on, super easy to work with, and you can heat up a screwdriver and burn nice clean holes in it for hardware.

Overpriced and wrong measurements
Not at all worth for the price of 10 k. Description says 80"×40" actual measurements is 39x78 consider the seller is charging by square feet he should refund the amount based on the measurements

Good product
I installed it on an outer metal skin over my stove pipe to stop cresole buildup near the top of the chimney of my outdoor wood stove that heats the house.

easy to use
I have replaced the foam insulation. applied the sound proofing material, then the plywood. I will add flooring over the plywood and it should be perfect. It was a great product , very sicky and worked well. I would by this product again. highly recommend it.
