Perfect Replacement for RV!
This LED light fixture fits perfectly as a replacement for the 12 volt fluorescent ceiling lights in my 1999 diesel motorhome! It could actually pass for OEM. I leave the fixture on and use the motorhome's light switch to operate, but I can also use the on/off button on the fixture itself. I really appreciate the four intensity/candle power settings and leave it on 50% unless performing routine maintenance under it. Lastly, the cool white color temperature (4,000 - 4,500 Kelvin) is perfect for being able to see clearly for cooking, cleaning and playing cards!

Great replacement for overhead 18" fluorescents - Installation Caution!
Great update for RV 18" overhead fluorescent fixtures. Problem is that the internal fastener holes are too narrow for the hole left by the fluorescent fixuture. I remedied this be turning the fixture over and drilling 5/32" holes through the plastic fixture outside of the existing mounting holes. The screws will show, but They really don't distract from the installed look.A note about polarity: Typically, your white wire in the overheads is ground and the colored wire is positive. In my Itasca the positive was yellow. You can check this if you have a 12v test light which shows polarity. These lights do require correct polarity - red to positive, black to ground.Avoiding failures: If you have multiple fluorescents in a circuit remove them all before installing the LED fixtures. Reason being that the ballast in a flourescent might backfeed a high voltage into the circuit and burn out your new light when you first turn it on. Also, do not let the light hang by the wires when you install the connectors. Even though the wires are pinched they can pull through and break the circuit internally. I kept my wire connectors and screws and screwdriver where I could reach them so I could hold up the panel while connecting the wires.Getting the cover out of the fixture: You shouldn't have to remove it if you are replacint fluorescent fixtures and need to drill wider mounting holes. If you are using the existing mounting holes you will have to remove the cover. The cover is mounted tight, but you can get it loose by flexing a corner of the frame and then pulling at the gap. Then you can work it open from the corner and one end. These are great replacements. They are more attractive than the old fluorescents. Better light. Brighter. And they use minimal power, which is important if you are not hooked to shore power and don't want to be running your generator. A bit of a hassle to install correctly, but well worth it.

Don’t hesitate these are a great upgrade.
I was not sure how these lights would be. I have to say out of this world upgrade. So great I reordered as soon as I installed the first 2. Great that they can be dimmed super light and simple to install. Looked forever for this light to upgrade my motorhome.

Great lighting upgrade except…
I love that these lights are nice and bright, great upgrade from fluorescent lights. The only problem is that fluorescent Thinlights are recessed and these are surface mounted. The hole in the ceiling left by the Thinlights is larger than the mounting pattern of these lights, so there is no way to mount them to the ceiling. I had to glue some wood strips inside the hole to make it smaller so these new lights could be attached. Kind of a hassle, but once finally installed they work great.

Great lights!
I replaced all the ceiling lights in my RV with these LED lights, warm white. They're sleek, lightweight and cover the hole from the previous lights. We did, however, have to buildout a frame in the existing hole because the screw holes were right at the edge of the previous hole and would not have held the fixture. I needed the on/off control to be on the fixture itself, but the only downside is, you're looking at the light when you turn it on, so if it's set at 100%, wow, that's a bright light in your eyes. I usually turn it to 25% when I turn it off, and it usually already is at 25% b/c that's enough light most of the time. I wish they also were smart lights, but I didn't shop for that.

Works as described.
Nice, slim-line profile, and all the dimming functions work fine. I installed it in the kitchen/dining area of my RV. It gives good light for meal prep, and then I can dim it for a more cozy atmosphere at mealtime.I had the light on for a few hours today and was concerned that it put out a bit more heat than I expected, I hope it's been well tested for the danger of overheating. Also, I might have to put a mark on the power-on button, because it's the same color as the trim, which makes it hard to find, way up there on the ceiling.

Great Lighting, Super upgrade!!
In our 2003 Winnebago Brave, I removed the old florescents which had a partial boxout/recess in the ceiling. I added wood blocking in the recess created by the old fixtures. New fixture covers the existing recess. Other than that the task was simple and new lights are Great. Well worth the effort!! And best of all,,,MY Wife Loves them, and the dimming feature!

Better than expected
We had one of our fluorescent lights in the Motorhome stop working so we would tried this LED light instead. The light is wonderful and bright and can choose the settings easily. My husband loved it so much we ordered two more to replace the fluorescent lights that were still working. I love to do puzzles and during the dark winter, that is hard in an RV, but this light at the 100% setting is perfect.

Prompt and excellent customer support
When I first received them I was unable to get them to work ( my fault) customer support got me straightened out and they are great, easy to install, dimmable feature is excellent and I like the low profile. If you are contemplating upgrading your fluorescent lights in your RV I would recommend that you consider these.

Perfect light
We bought it to replace a 19 year old light in our Lance camper. Works very well though we had a beast of a time getting the shade on and off. We finally figured it out. Difficult to see the on/off button so I put a bluecoloured dot on it! Perfect!!
