MOVES THE AIR !
This exhaust fan is very powerful and really removes the heat from the ceiling area of my workshop ( the heat really builds up on summer days ). You can feel the difference within a few minutes of turning the fan on. The quality of the fan is impressive. The louvers work great and close completely (as they should) when the fan is turned off. I would buy this fan again..

I purchased this unit to vent the built up heat in my garage. It works great! I added a temperate switch to turn on an outlet that the fan is connected to and the fan does its job well. I wouldn't say that the fan is quiet, but I also wouldn't say that it's very noisy either. You can definitely tell when the fan is on. I think it sounds a bit louder than an average interior box fan.

Well built, quality exhaust fan
This fan is very well made and surprisingly quiet for its size. I bought the 16" to vent fumes from a garage workshop. I had a carpenter install it through a window instead of the wall. It runs beautifully and I'm very happy with it!
