Good book 11 plus preparation

This is a very Practical aid for English 11+ and good value. Essential part of the home study programme with a good range of short, sharp tests to hone necessary skills.

I'm a big fan of Schofield & Sims book and this is no exception:- groups of "tests", they don't take too long but comprehensively cover the syllabus- tests get a little harder as you work your way through the book- good answers section (in the centre part of the book so easy to pull out)- each page is laid out well, clear with a good variety of tasks.Overall highly recommended!

These books are great as they contain 18 different tests. They are well written, clearly written by an educator. As an educator myself these books have been invaluable in saving time writing tests as it freed up time to spend 1-21 with my pupils. The tests are an appropriate difficulty level.

I'm an English teacher and got this to try with my daughter-in-law's 8-year old nephew, a little girl who is learning English. It's a first class little exercise book that has turned out to be even better than I was hoping and is really helping her. It would be just as useful to any young primary school student, I feel sure. It's a slim but very good value little book.
