The Booms pliers are high quality yet super light weight. Used these now on various fishing trips. I find them to be very useful and highly fit for purpose. The hook pliers work well. I like the belt pouch and lanyard, they work well and avoid any accidental drops or misplacement. Only slight gripe I have is that it can be a little tricky locating braid into the cutter and takes a few attempts to severe through. Recommended.

On it's first outing, I managed to drop it in between some rocks never to be found again.I'd attached the pouch to my wader straps, and had the lanyard attached to the pliers, but a toilet break meant I undid the wader straps without thinking and away they went...But before that, I'd used it to cut braid and cinch knots and it did those flawlessly.

Great for holding small 20 flies to thread them. My eyesight is not as good as it was and I also have difficulty holding small delicate things steady now at 75 years old. Excellent- thank you.

Solid good for fishing the handles grips could do with a bit of padding if you ever have to use them as pliers they will hurt your hands, but fine for fishing

Feel really good quality. Comes with a hip holster and lanyard so you can't drop them. Looked after properly, they will serve you for a long time.Recommended.
