Here’s a little bit of history with me and vacuum cleaners – I can tear one up pretty quickly. Or, more accurately, my 95 year old father and his tendency to drop floss all over the place can tear up a vacuum cleaner (his floss once cut a beater bar in half – that stuff is tough).So I don’t spend much. Sure, I had Dyson’s, Kirby’s and the odd Oreck or two, but they don’t last any longer than the $100 Amazon special.This unit looked unique mainly because of it’s style. Unlike other units that have an incredibly heavy top mated to a lightweight lower portion, this one seemed a little more balanced.And, it didn’t fail me there. If this thing weighs 5 pounds it’s only because I have a quarter pound of dirt in the cup and since it’s balanced the process of lugging it around the house is no longer a chore.As for vacuuming, you’ve got your choice of low, medium or high beater bar settings. Medium is probably the best, I get about 30 minutes of usable vacuum time before it dies.Which it does. Previous cordless units I’ve had get weak shortly before shutting down – it’s sort of an early warning system. This unit just shuts down (the charging lights are not visible in usage unless you tilt the handle to the left and look).As for the ability to put up dirt, I’ve got no problem there. In addition to floss, dad also drops peanuts, pretzels and who-knows-what-else on the floor (he doesn’t gain much weight because he keeps missing his mouth).Not a problem, this unit sucked them all up (in a curious note, the beater bar didn’t break a stick pretzel – it was sucked up whole).So, is this unit worth the price? Let me do a pro and con approach.Pro:* Clean design. The flat bottom cup design means you can actually balance this unit on a countertop edge.* Well built. Not a creak or crack anywhere. Lettering is crisp and applied to the casing instead of the usual “put a sticker on and hope nobody notices”.* Removable battery with replaceable lithium-ion innards (I checked at my local battery store). Don’t see that too often.* Surprisingly quiet. My old Red Devil unit could wake the neighbors, this one didn’t even both dad sleeping in the next room (and that’s on high or medium settings).* Easy to clean – embarrassingly easy. Put the bottom of the canister over your trash can and release the lever. That’s it. Since the cup is nothing more than a cylinder with no edges or obstructions, everything just falls out.* Need in-depth cleaning? Twist the canister a quarter turn and it pops off. No slamming or jamming the stupid thing back in. Simply remove the filter assembly (it’s marked “Open” and “Close” with turn arrows) and wash it. Wait to dry and reassembly.Since there are no odd protrusions or sharp cormers in the canister, nothing stays inside.* Comes with an extra filter. That’s a rarity.Con:* Never heard of this company? Join the crowd. I did an in-depth search and could find no Whall or Acuma on the internet except for this Amazon entry. Even sent an email to the company ([email protected]) asking for a website and got a response with an internet entry leading me right back to the Amazon site you’re currently looking at. Hmmm……* Need parts? Read first con above.For the price, you probably can’t lose and with Amazon’s liberal return policy you can return it after trying it out.

This vacuum is AMAZING for the following reasons:1. Its our first cordless and it is just so convenient to not have to unplug for each room.2. It comes with a mountable charging stand, which we love because we do not have to have it on the floor in the closet. Instead it has its place.3. It is light weight and easy to maneuver. No it does not stand on its own but its so easy to carry around and light that you can just lean it on a wall. The flexible and slim design make it easy to vacuum all the way under your sofa or hard to reach places with no problem. It also comes with attachments so you can make it a hand held vacuum when you need to get corners on your ceiling or window sills.4. Long lasting charge. I used this on high suction and was able to vacuum our entire house. Our home is 1565 square feet (not the largest) but we were able to get it all with one charge. I'm sure if you didn't use high suction for the entire house, you could get bigger spaces finished with one charge.5. It suctions great on hardwood and carpets! It picks things up really easily with just one swipe and it also comes with a second filter!6. It is extremely affordable. You don't have to pay an arm and a leg like the dyson (which i heard has poor battery life and the batteries are expensive to replace). At this price point you could buy one for your upstairs and one downstairs if you have a larger home or even one for each major room! You also don't have to feel bad when the battery completely dies. Just buy a new one!Overall, this has been a life changing vacuum. We use it every day for minor crumbs cause its just so easy to use and put away. Buy it!

I love love love this little vac - I’d been shopping for something convenient and not heavy that was less than $500 - No pets but 3 grandkids 2 and under so their little messes happen quite often. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this pretty little thing. I’ve named her Blue Bell & she wins every time. The suction is great for all floors & my couple of low rugs. My house is 3100 sq ft with luxury vinyl & tile throughout. I am able to do the entire first floor on medium or low without the need to recharge. I pride myself on keeping a clean house so was pretty shocked the first time I used blue bell & got a tennis ball size of dust, crumbs, hair.., I’ve had her for almost a month and enjoy finding crumbs to suck up daily. I enjoy cleaning out the little receptacle to see what was unknowingly lurking in my house. Lastly, I love being able to get to those spots under beds, sofas, chairs - makes it super easy. Love it - love it - buy it - I don’t think you will regret this little jewel!

Lightweight, easy maneuverability, & versatile. (5 Stars)Update: The vacuum has died after less than 5 times using it. It makes a strange noise and has no suction - very disappointed as I was so pleased with it UNTIL IT DIED! (1 Star)Update: I’ve learned there is a 1 year warranty on this vacuum cleaner. The company is sending me a replacement, for which I am grateful. It really has some nice characteristics and I’m pleased accompany has stepped up to the plate to replace the faulty unit. (4 stars)Update: I received my replacement vacuum cleaner quickly and I’m very pleased with the product.

The media could not be loaded.  I have been using it for around 1 month now and couldn’t stop myself from praising this vacuum cleaner as I got this One to replace my electric vacuum cleaner. It works like a charm for sure. It’s chargeable so no power cord hassle while moving around. One full charge ends for really long time. The front suction portion of the vacuum is thin, flexible and compact at the same time so it will easily go under your bed/table/couch and other furniture for cleaning hence no more moving the furniture around. Works equally good on hard flooring/carpet. It’s so light weight that even my 3 year daughter has started helping me around the house with cleaning.! 😀 So that’s definitely a plus . Haha . Emptying the dust is also easy. Just press the button open the flap and empty directly in the trash bin. Pricing is just right so it doesn’t break your bank. The filter is made of steel and is washable. So far have so complaint. Will update if I see any downside of it..!Update on Feb 22 - after 1.5 year of use - This vacuum cleaner broke from the bottom part after using it for 1.5 year. I am soo disappointed with it. I expected it to last for more years as it wasn’t that cheap to buy. Tried contacting custom service as well but no response.Update May 22 - The after sales rep contacted me and offered me the replacement part but unfortunately I had already trashed the vaccum clearance. They have sent me a refurbished one which I am happy with now.
