I own several handbooks and my consistent experience with handbooks is that a "handbook" is a book that you will keep "handy" or "to hand" because it's a ready reference resource that provides concise yet comprehensive information that can be quickly studied and applied. To serve this purpose, a handbook is well-organized into modular topics.This book, on the other hand, is simply a collection of research publications. The title is inappropriate and VERY misleading.
