TimberlandMen's Trifold Nylon Wallet, Black, One Size

I was super drawn to this wallet as I REALLY liked the sleek design (all black wallet with the white Timberland logo) as well as the price. The only thing I didn't entirely like was that it was velcro. Timberland doesn't make any similar looking non-velcro wallets, at least that I could find, so I went with this anyway.Upon receiving, I realized I really loved the look of it and the quality but was going to hate using it as the velcro is VERY strong and VERY noisy when opening. It attaches VERY STRONG, of course, because it's velcro. Some will buy it just for that feature, however I wanted a simple wallet that looked like this one, really without the velcro.So I took to google. HOW TO DULL VELCRO. At first I tried applying a small bit coconut oil to both pieces thinking it wouldn't stick as much but that didn't work, it had zero effect.Then I stumbled upon a site that said all you have to do is take a lighter and slightly melt the teeth side so it doesn't attach as strong. WOW, DUH. Makes sense. So that's what I did. I slightly melted some of the teeth so it still attaches but just barley. I'm fine with that. now there's virtually zero noise when opening but it attaches just enough to stay closed when not in use. and it didn't alter the look of it whatsoever.If you choose to do this, I suggest doing it in very tiny requirements to get it where you want it. Don't just take the lighter and melt the entire strip. Barley let the teeth touch the flame for a microsecond in a spot here and there, then see how it attaches, repeat as necessary until your satisfied.I figured i'd post this suggestion here as I've seen a few complaints about the velcro and was in the same boat.IT'S GREATEST WALLET EVER NOW THOUGH!

The durability of this wallet is surprisingly well. I've been using this for well over a year now and it's perfect for the price I purchased this at. The design is simple and minimal. Thickness with all card slots being used is okay- doesn't feel tight unless you pack your wallet with cards.Over all, 10/10 if you want a simple wallet.

I previously had a thin, durable, low-profile nylon wallet that I wanted to replace--so I tried this. I carry maybe 10 cards & drivers lisc. & some cash. It initially felt a little bulky, but once I carried it for a day or two, it compressed & contoured in my pocket & it works well! Small 'footprint,' lightweight, very rugged, VERY strong velcro close--which I don't mind--securely holds everything. Occasionally, I have to wrestle out a cc card, but at least I know it won't fall out. NO chance of that happening. Very good value for the $$s.

I use this as my only wallet. Makes it easy to carry around cash, credit cards, driver’s license, and other similar items. I am very happy with it.

My wife likes this because it is small with numerous compartments. For those who do not want a large bulky wallet. Closes with velcro which is a plus.
