Gift for my sister and she loved it

I bought this Bible for my 12yo nephew. He loves it! As a Youth Minister, I am always looking for great resources for my teens and tweens to better their Christian walks. This Bible is such a resource. This is a perfect Bible for youth guys between 11 and 14. The NLT is a very acurate, understandable translation and the overall layout is geared towards the ages mentioned earlier. It has great personal stories and study notes that your young person will highly relate to. The Guys Life Application Study Bible will not disappoint. It has a really cool, durable cover with a tribal/grafitti design in the center, a book ribbon, and gilded silver pages. Your young man will love this Bible! Amazon is the only place I found this leather-like version and the price is very well worth it.

My daughter loved it. The design, the glow in the dark, and most importantly, the helpful tips and insights scattered throughout.Also, I like NLT. It's a pretty good, somewhat simplified, translation that doesn't seem to compromise scripture. I need to check for completeness of Mark 9:29 though.

My daughter (8.5) absolutely loves this Bible. She is so excited to being it to school!
