Pentel Ain Stein Mechanical Black Pencil Lead, 0.7mm HB, 40 Leads (C277-HB)

The leads don't break easily. Despite being a mechanical pencil, you can use this for shading too. I love it.

This is one of the best mechanical pencil available.

I don't know in which country it is produced, but it seems that it is manufactured with high quality in accordance with the quality control standards of Japanese manufacturers.

It will be pretty good for beginners and it's not that worth but pentel is premium after all but it's very much sturdy and good

Inspite of 2b grade , lead is strong , has note broken even once . Writing is smooth and dark imprints left behind.

Perfect for my pentel 0.0.7mm pencil. Leads are dark and always gives smooth handwriting. Loved it. Thank Jap Creations and Amazon

Pentel Ain is a legend. For those who appreciate writing with lead, this is the best there is in the world, hands down.

I'd previously bought Pentel 0.7mm B pencil leads through Amazon but found they were no softer than HBs, so now I've bought 2B Pentel/Ain/Stein leads - and they are also as hard as normal HBs. It seems it would cost £2.79 to return these leads in order to get a £2.85 refund, so they're going in the bin with the others.It seems the only way to get soft pencil leads is not through Amazon.

It’s a second time I order it, the price is reasonable and it’s doing its job. I’m an architecture student and I use a lot of these. It is perfect for drawings, however it can get quite smudgy if touched by hand
