Twice now!
Excellent. Get over the fact it's a composite plastic. It looks wonderful. The faux bead-board is just enough to make this stylish. And assembled it has trim work that gives this a "NOT Cheap" appearance.Biggest con: the mess of unpacking. The Styrofoam residue, and especially the "saw-dust" particles are gnarly (see pic). Keep a vacuum and barely -damp rag handy.Hints:1) READ & FOLLOW directions.2) Lay out the pieces in numeric order (know there is NO #6 !)3) There are little stick-on pads that go on the bottom of the verticals after assembly (in the directions the last page). PUT THEM ON BEFORE STEP 1... It protects the surface your working on4) I assembled on my table. Working higher was easier5) I found using the damp rag best to snug-up the hand turned, plastic bolts6) IF a bolt appears to not 'go-in' the pre-drill holes, don't freak, take a breath, make sure all parts are pushed all the way into place and square, then try again. BOOYAH! (I am able to bet that the manufacturer process includes an assembly run as the pieces have rubbed marks where they are slid together which tells me they inspect for alignment and square)7) I had cats using the uncovered litter box while awaiting for this. To get them used to it (or assure they'd have easy transition) I left the door open for two days. No problem!I bought one for our bedroom, then two weeks ago another for our family room. I think its a well designd very well crafted litter-HIDER!Easy to get to litter. Door down, lift a little & slide out litter box, scoop, slide back, close door. The girls will lay on top of it, particularly at night as it's under a window for night animal spying! It's worth the money!Enjoy your cats!

Never thought I’d love a litter box house as much as I do!
We bought the black litter box house about 2 years ago when we got our first cat. We recently got another new kitten and I had to get another house in gray for her litterbox. It is easy to assemble, no tools requires, and took me about 10-15 minutes. It is large and fits my older cat’s high back 15x18 litter box perfectly with a little room inside to keep the scoop. It’s not made of that cheap particle board wood… it’s almost like a hard sturdy plastic. So if you cat frequently misses the litter box, it won’t get ruined. It is a little tough to clean the far back with my bad back because of how big it is, but it clearly didn’t stop me from buying it again. If my husband lets me get a 3rd cat, I would buy this product a 3rd time!

Not what expected but pleasant surprise
I thought it was all wood, but realized parts were plastic when putting it together. Turned out to be better this way since I put the box in the bathroom. It looks great and the top and corner pieces really pull it together where you can't even tell it's not all wood. Best of all my cats (kittens) love it and tend to play in it. This was the easiest piece of furniture I have ever put together. Not a single tool was needed. It was a little too heavy for me to pick up alone so I pushed it into the room and was impressed with how sturdy it was. Definitely would recommend! For the price it is well worth it!

This is very large
I bought the larger size to accommodate my litterbox (just barely fits). Even though I carefully measured the footprint dimensions, I didn't take into account the height. It's really an imposing piece of "furniture." Because of the shelf on top, it's taller than I visualized and completely dominates the small living room in my apartment. This is by no means the fault of the manufacturer. I'll keep it and see how it goes. One thing to keep in mind before purchasing is that the door is hinged on the bottom, so you'll need to open it like a ramp. I had to reposition the box with the hole opening into the living room, which takes up more space than I aniticipated. Because the litter box takes up the entire inside of the box, I'll have to slide it all the way out to remove the cover and clean it well. It went together easily, but the holes in one front corner didn't line up or weren't threaded right, so one of the plastic screws didn't catch. I jammed a wooden dowel in the holes and that's working so far. The entire thing is plastic - pretty heavy duty - including the screws. From a distance if you squint it looks like dark wood (that's the color I got). It was packed very well, but that didn't prevent some scratches from forming from friction during transit. They're not visible because they're on the top of the box portion and covered by the top shelf. I just had an idea as I typed. I may use a hacksaw to cut the four side supports even with the top of the box. That will make it a little less noticeable.

Modkat Litter Tray fits
I bought the standard size due to limited space in our new apartment. It was fairly simple to assemble, it has been sturdy so far, and I appreciate the tidy appearance. We keep a tote on top of it to organize supplies, which is an added bonus for space efficiency. I really like this unit, with the one caveat that it was challenging to find a litter box that would fit. We first tried the Iris open litter box with shield. It was a total disaster in terms of leaks and mess due to its design. However, we tried again with the Modkat Litter Tray and it works perfectly with this! You do need to tilt the Modkat as you're placing it (to get it past the magnets) but it's fairly easy to remove/return whenever needed. If you have a bit more room in your place, I still think going with the larger size unit will make your life easier. All else aside, though, I would still recommend the standard one that I got. Hope this helps!

So cute!
Thank god for this product!! My daughter has been wanting a kitten for years. We finally gave in and got her one for her birthday. I'm more of a cat person in general, but I hate the litter box!!!!! This works perfectly. It conceals the litter box enough, I love that I can store the extra litter on top. It's decorative and looks awesome in my laundry room! Also keeps my toddler from playing in the litter! Yuck!

Brilliant cupboard, just hate to see cat litter trays
Wow! Very impressed. Very easy to put together. No tools required,Looks great! The cat loves it. Seems easy to clean. With the easy assembly I can see it would be easy to take apart, too, if needed for cleaning. The instruction manual was perfect. All you need to do is follow the diagrams and use your fingers to tighten some large plastic screws. Even the parts where numbered, so easy. The finished product looks smart and unobtrusive; fits in nicely with about any style of furniture. We have another litter box cupboard, so was a bit worried in case they didn’t like this one, No problems there the cats christened it immediately 😺Just had a second one delivered.. great cupboards to hide litter tray pity you can’t purchase these from the UK. Has shipping is actually more the cupboard.. but would highly recommend

Perfect, for when you need to have a litter box in your bedroom. It now doubles as my night stand, with the entrance facing away from my bed. I just wish the vents, on either side, came with a mesh or filter.

This can be used for a bed, a toilet for a litter tray, if your cat or a small dog won't use it you could store cat/dog toys etc. The top is useful for a lamp as this is suitable for any room in your house.

Cat Litter Box
I bought this and had it shipped to the UK (the shipping and import fees cost more than the item)! I put it together in 30 minutes or so and although not quite as sturdy as I’d hoped, I am really happy with the look and quality. It’s a shame we can’t buy these in the UK as I’m sure more people would purchase if so.

I purchased this almost a year ago. It is great, keeps litter box out of site and provides privacy for the cat. Unfortunately the pins that hold the drop down door in place were not long enough and the door broke off on one side due to the weight of the litter box. I would recommend removing the litter box completely rather than allowing it to rest on the open door when you are cleaning the box.
