Great Crimping Tools!
These work fabulous for crimping pex as I ran lines for water in my basement. They have lasted many years now!! Good purchase.have not had any leaks, easy to adjust as necessary. Grip is great and another good price point.

Tight fix in a tight space
This tool worked wonderfully. I had a very small opening in a bathroom vanity that the normal crippers were to big to get the correct angle to crimp the pex rings. This new angle tool worked quickly and easily. I highly recommend. I plan to use this tool a long time.

Well made heavy duty crimper, First time user it made perfect crimps.
Just started to use Pex and found this crimper for 1/2 and 3/4 inch Pex. Works great! Will hopefully never have to solder copper again. It does make perfect crimps and the angle unit is what I prefer. It does take a moderate effort but gives a little towards completion. One hand crimps will be doable for some but I needed a little assist on few. Anyway, great unit. Highly recommend!

Much easier to use in smaller areas
After plumbing nearly my whole house with a larger crimping tool, I finally got frustrated enough having to use two hands to crimp and bought this one. The first crimp I made I knew it was so much easier. This tool is a must have for connecting pex in smaller areas where you can only comfortably use one hand.

Works great, but maybe I would have done a few things differently.
I bought this to work on a plumbing update where I am removing all the galvanized and replacing with PEX. I got a Viega Manabloc as part of the project as well. Let me start off with the good, the cutter is sharp and true for cutting both 1/2" & 3/4" PEX. The crimper makes excellent crimps I have not had a problem with a single crimp I made that was properly placed. Getting a bunch of free crimps too was nice. Now let me go to the negatives. First of all if I was buying again I would have opted for Two crimpers, one for 1/2" & another for 3/4" mainly because in my case some of the places I had to crimp were a bit tight and having the extra large head to accommodate two sizes does not help the matter. I also think a single crimper might have worked better from the standpoint of being more of a one handed operation. When you open the crimper the head does not open wide enough to clear the pipe, I physically must use my second hand to open the jaws of the crimper to provide enough clearance to put the crimper over the pipe and the crimp. Maybe there is an adjustment on the crimper tool for this but it is not apparent and documentation is lacking. Speaking of crimps it could easily be bumped out of the correct position as the head of the crimper is so large; my solution to this was very simple as I took a bit of cellophane tape and wrapped it around the pipe and crimp so it stayed in the correct location. I could then move (using both hands) the crimper on top of the crimp in the correct position. As I mentioned earlier I have not had a bad crimp since I started using this method.

Great tool
I had never used one of these before. I was installing a tankless water heater and needed to hook up the water lines. This tool came with all the correct fitting and tools. I was very easy to use and about $60. Cheaper than the big box stores. Certainly worth the money.

Very good crimper
This is a very good crimper. Easy to get into tight spots. After using this one I would not pay money for a regular straight crimper anymore.

My review of crimp pex ring crimper
This is a good quality tool, it cramps the rings quite well, it is a good price and you can get in tight spots with it.

Perfect - compact and calibrated
Love how compact the crimper is and that you can override the jaws to fully open by pulling the grip. Perfect for tight spaces.Crimp is clean and even, so mine came well calibrated, something that isn’t a given these days.I will say that the short handles do require a little bit more power than regular size crimpers, so keep that in mind.

So far so good.
These seem good so far. Work as expected. They do not need a lot of space to crimp. So they get the job done in tight locations. My only gripe is it’s hard to see the positioning of the ring before clamping down the crimper. It also liked to offset itself on the ring when closed. So takes a bit of fiddling before crimping. Maybe it will get better with more use. Still, I needed these to crimp a line between my ductwork and steel beam and my other tool wouldn’t get the job done. This did the trick.
