I'm Mad About Marcum!!
I really loved getting to know Marcum better. Yes we've met him in other books but it's never been enough for me I wanted to know the real him, the man beneath the Prez Patch.Boy oh Boy this guy didn't disappoint I bloody loved him. The way he is with his kids melted my heart. There's so much more to Marcum than meets the eye.Marcum isn't a good man, he doesn't pretend to be. The lifestyle he leads has hardened him. He loves women it's no secret but he's never really gave himself completely to anyone. He's never wanted to.His family are the only people that matter to Marcum. That is until Toi enters his life and everything changes. He wants to protect her, that's all he keeps telling himself.Toi is like a breath of fresh air for Marcum. She knocks him on his A$$ and no one is more surprised than him. I adored Toi she hasn't had the easiest life and when she's thrown in with a bunch of Bikers she doesn't crumble. She maybe young but she's a tough little thing.I admired her strength this girl will fight with everything she has, she's selfless and doesn't back down when she wants something.I love strong females in books and Toi is definitely one of them. You don't want to underestimate this girl. This story was fantastic I love Jordan's writing. I've been huge fan of hers for a long time. She has a fantastic sense of humour and a dirty mind and never fails to deliver captivating reads with all her stories.I've read all her books but her MC books/series will always be my favourites. If you love dirty mouthed Bikers and feisty strong women then look no further than this Author she has always been right at the top of this Genre for me and always will be. 💗Give Marcum a chance he might just surprise you.

Good read
Met marcum in a previous book and wasn’t sure of his age then and I’m still trying to work it out. That said older geezer falls for younger damaged woman. Good plot and storyline and author does a good job. Enjoyable.

Loved it
I absolutely love Jordan Marie she never disappoints with her story telling . Toi and Marcum didn't hit it off straight away but that soon changed , they had some issues but stood strong together and overcame them though the ending was a close call. And Harley that poor boy about broke my heart all because of that cow Cherry. But they get their happy ending with lots of pictures . 😍😍

Interesting
I use the word interesting quite a bit when reading stories that don't go the way I think they going to from the blurb and previous books in the series. However, it is good and has an interesting main male character, Marcum, struggling with aspects of his relationship with the female lead, Toi - unusual with this type of book. You'll see when you read it.No more spoilers.Jordan Marie though is a great writer in her genre so you can rely on that when you get any of her books. She always delivers. Great characters, good storylines, written and edited well and a longer story that you can get your teeth into.Don't be put off by the Filthy Florida's part of the title as I initially was. This is a MC story with the usual biker background and the life involved in it.It's worth a read.

Whats not to love about this Filthy Florida Alpha?
I jumped right into this series with book 3 since they can be read as stand alones. I loved Toi's spirit and fire; although she was downtrodden she was no shrinking violet. As for Marcum, he was a true alpha male. He was bossy and kind of an ass but when it counted he was a real man who loved his kids and was ultimately even willing to give his life for Toi. I loved this couple and this story!

Not keen
I've read quite a lot of Jordan Marie books+have really enjoyed them, especially The Savage brothers series, now Dragon is a real alpha president. This book felt like it was written by a different author of didn't flow like the previous ones I've read.Marcum, the president just didn't do it for me his character wasn't strong enough +what was it with all those kids ! Did he fancy himself as the pied piper ! A true m c president just wouldn't act that way.I'm afraid I got bored about 3/4 of the way through +didn't actually finish the book.I think I'll go back +re-read Breaking Dragon to relive what a real alpha m c president is meant to be like.

It was seriously good
I am really glad that I gave this book a chance!! I started reading it feeling a little hesitant about it. Mostly due to the fact that I couldn’t remember much from book one in this series combined with the fact that I never read book two in this series. Basically, all I could remember was that I did like book one and that Marcum was Max’s father from book one. I can honestly tell you that Unwritten Rules can be read as a stand-alone, no problem. Pinky promise.Reading Marcum and Toi’s story was an eye opener, mostly into Marcum’s heart. I remembered him as being this worry-free manwhore, who also happened to have a gazillion kids to show for his manwhoring ways. I loved seeing what was underneath all that, how deeply he actually felt for the people he considered family. Toi pretty much bulldozes her way into his heart without him even realizing it. After the initial sense of panic and misery he feels about it, he decides to give it a shot and to hell with the consequences. Toi was younger than him (by a lot), however, life experiences had matured her beyond her years, and she was more than ready to take on Marcum and all the drama surrounding him.I loved, loved, LOVED the two epilogues. All I can say is, take pictures, people, take lots of pictures ❤️

Recommend!
I started to follow the series and Marcum intrigued me from the beginning. I confess I had no good opinion of him, but in the second book I decided to give the character a chance.Curiosity was stronger than my disgust with a womanizer full of children with several different women. And the author being one of my favorites also weighed on my decision. The author presents facets of his personality that make us look at him differently and start to like him. The heroine does not disappoint us and is lovable although her life was not easy. The story is full of action, hot scenes and I just love it when the villains have their brains blown.I really liked it and highly recommend it!

Best one yet
Warning - Don’t start this book in the evening or you won’t get any sleep. Well that’s what happened to me reading this book. I couldn’t put it down. I worried whether I would fall for Marcum or even like him. Gotta say he is now probably my favourite out all of Jordan’s men characters and I loved Toi as well.Such a good story, even say a great love story. Probably my favourite of Jordan’s so far. I know this will end up being one of my re-read go to books.

Outlaw MC and Age-gap romance with dark themes
Even though this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. I recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction, as there are reoccurring characters and similar themes.⛔️ Contains references to, or detailed scenes with subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some, including: adult language; derogatory terms; mental health issues; chemical dependency; steamy adult intimate scenes with dominance, submission, dubious consent, physical restraints, sensory deprivation, spankings for punishment and pleasure, sadism, masochism, voyeurism, exhibitionism, etc.; violence stereotypical of the genre such as kidnapping, abduction, betrayal, subterfuge, death, murder, assault, torture, rape, attempted rape, blackmail, human trafficking, threats, domestic violence, as well as the mental, physical and sexual abuse of a child, etc.** Caution: Special warning for anyone sensitive to mental, physical and sexual abuse of a child **There are grammatical issues throughout, but nothing too difficult to interpret. Primarily these included incorrect word choice, typos, missing words, and extra inserted words. I am mentioning these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow.Toi is the only child of a vile man, that she continues to stay with, and try to take care of, despite his repeated beatings and mental abuse. She arrives home from work to find him passed out in her bed, or at least what passes for one. Then she hears the pipes from the motorcycles and knows this can’t be anything good, so she starts tossing some items into a bag. Toi spends longer than she thinks gathering items, so her only option is to go out the small bathroom window.Marcum is the leader of an Outlaw MC in Florida. He is the father to a lot of children including Maxwell from a previous story in the series. He takes a small crew out to deal with a man that stole money from the MC. Marcum has given him a couple of chances to pay back the money, but so far, he hasn’t given them anything.Toi is grabbed as she went out the window and brought back into the house over the man’s shoulder. Marcum wants to know her name, but Toi is unable to speak normally because of repeated trauma. This was caused when her father hit her multiple times in her throat. Toi can actually whisper loudly, but it is painful and she doesn’t want her father to know, as she is afraid he would do it again if he knew. All Marcum could see when she was brought in, was her lush behind. He knows he is too old to be interested in her, but he could still admire it. Then he decides to give her father one more chance, but he is taking Toi as collateral.
