I needed to replace an existing fixture and add three more to my garage. these did the trick for any fixture can mount to a shallow surface mounted round box.Holes are standard. I like cheap things that save me a trip to CovidDepot during the pandemic.

Good quality pancake electric box for lighting. Bought 30 for my new house and they are just like the ones at the home improvement stores. Knockouts work fine. Comes with 2 screws installed.

Newer ceiling fans have a wider mounting bracket for the smaller round ceiling pans. This shallow wider pan worked for me.

Center of vanity was right in front of stud, this fit perfectly.

This was perfect just what I needed. I cut the hole out in the ceiling and screw these bad boys right into the studs. Would buy again.
