Although metal quite thin it seems very sturdy. They support 3 fairly large heavy pots easily which makes them easy to manoeuvre as necrssary. Wheels come separately and need to be screwed in place (no tools needed). I found this fiddly at first but putting things together does not come naturally to me! Once assembled I am very pleased with them and would purchase again.
