Melissa & Doug Children’s Book – Poke-a-Dot: All Around Sunny Farm

The pages are colorful, cute verses. My grandson loves the popping the dots.

This is so cute and my daughter loves it

We love the pop it books but they are so big and heavy they aren’t easy to bring places. This one is nice and compact. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is a couple of the pop it’s wouldn’t pop. Otherwise the images and story are cute and engaging.

The books are great when the bubbles work. But too often on this one, you cannot get the bubble to stay pushed. Grandson says, “it doesn’t work”.

My kids and I love the pop it books by Doug and Melissa. I bought this as a gift for this weekend for a toddler’s birthday. The whole book is lopsided and won’t sit straight. The edges are all bent up. I’m not sure if this is just how the book was previous to shipping or what. It really stinks, and I don’t think I can get another one by the time I need it. Really disappointed…

I wish this book worked but unfortunately our copy the poppers wouldn’t pop they just stayed in place.

My 2 year old loves farms but I was disappointed this book has no story. It points out various farm animals and objects and has the reader "find" very large and simple things. Perhaps interesting for a 1-2 year old, but my 2.5 year old was bored by it. The dots are fun, I guess, but they don't all work.

The pops on three of the pages did not work. I have had other books from this series and I did not have this issue.
