This 100% raffia hat is hand made on the Island of Madagascar where the raffia palm tree grows. The hat has a double layer of raffia which is finely woven to block the sunlight. The brim is flexible, enabling it to take many different shapes. Because of its flexible nature, the hat can be packed into a suitcase for travel without damage from bending. The brim comes in a choice of two sizes: 6 inches or 7 inches. The head size is a roomy one size fits all.
