I have been using this for about a week, and it has had no trouble clinging to the side of my shower, which I had been having trouble with suction cupped soap dishes in the past! Just a couple of things I wanted to mention - the soap dish itself IS stainless steel, but the knob that it clings to (and that you turn to get it suctioned to the wall) is not. It is a plastic with a chrome coating. Secondly, the knob can be VERY hard to turn once you are getting towards the "closed' mark. You definitely need to turn the knob until it clicks into the closed position or it will NOT suction properly to the wall.

I am giving the product 4 out of 5 stars because it works well, albeit in a limited type of surfaces. I was not able to affix it to regular but old tiles.They were too porous. It was easy to get it set on the mirror. If you are having difficulty, I recommend you try this to test it. The instructions are not great- push the center of the knob and turn the outer circle until you hear the click. I am not clear in which direction- the box says counterclockwise but the arrow point clockwise. I did clockwise and it worked.

Doesn't stick well to my tile. I tried several times to fix this to my shower wall with the same results. After several days the device was found on the floor in the am.

As a disabled person, I found that I could not reach the soap as it was stored on the contraption that hung from the shower head. Putting the soap on the side of the tub made a mess.This soap dish makes the soap reachable. I love that!However, as the soap gets smaller and thinner, it can also easily slip between the wires on the dish. So, I like it (very much) but couldn't say "love it."I'd buy it again in a minute, though.

Works as intended have had it on my tile wall without it falling off for a little over a month. The locking mechanism works well but trying to lock it while holding it in place is a bit awkward, it took about three attempts to place it correctly twice it fell while I was out but after the third I've had no issues.A great addition simple and elegant enough to be added to just about any bath set up.

The soap dish has been attached in our shower for over 2 weeks now and working perfectly. I cleaned the glazed 4x8 beveled subway tiles with rubbing alcohol, let the surface dry, then attached the dish as directed. Rating as 4 stars until there's more longevity of use.Update: soap dish fell off the wall after 8 wks. I cleaned the surfaces again with alcohol, remounted, seems to be holding well (10-3-16).

This stainless suction dish with 2-sturdy plastic hooks is terrific. I have a tub/shower surround with shelves-a soap bar slides off when wet =have to chase it around the tub bottom when showering + leaves soap residue on the shelf. This dish solves the problem & soap stays dry + the 2- sliding hooks provide a place to hang a body & back scrubber. Took all of a minute to install-clean area-place suction area flat against non-porous surface & turn ring to right until clicks to install or left to remove. To me it is aesthetically pleasing to look at & will not fog or yellow with age like clear plastic. The dish measures 5"wx3.5"deep & when attached sticks out from wall 4.5". Box says the dish holds 5.lbs. No problems to date with unexpected suction release. Great product- I am very pleased with this purchase & will be viewing other products from this company.

You have to hold the back rubber and twist the base to lock rather than hold the base and twist the holder per instruction due to insufficient strength of part to twist with holder. Bad design. The other design with outside lever lock from another mfg works much much better. Poor. The base and holder is just plastic. You have to take wire holder to lock then re attach wire soap holder.

Le support est bien fini et a l'air solide, la ventouse qui est sensée supporter 5 kg devrait tenir sans problème pour un savon de quelques grammes. Maintenant il faut voir si le support tiendra correctement sur la durée.Par contre je mets zéro étoile au service livraison "amazon logistics" qui a déposé le colis dans la mauvaise boite aux lettres !!J'ai du attendre 3 jours pour voir ma voisine et récupérer mon colis. Comme j'étais absent, le livreur qui ne voulait pas revenir a laissé le colis dans la 1ère boite disponible, sans se soucier de savoir comment j'allais récupérer ma commande ... Heureusement que ma voisine n'était pas partie 1 mois !! Très mauvaise prestation.

The item arrived very quickly, sooner that stated. On inspection the suction soap dish looks a class item and I am very pleased with it in that respect. I have only given it a four star rating but when the company contacts me again in one weeks time if it is still firmly attached to my tiled shower cubicle wall I will happily upgrade this to five stars. That has always been the issue for me with suction devices, the clatter in the middle of the night. This one however secured itself to the wall with a satisfying click and I could not pull it off. Time will tell watch this space..UPDATE : Over a week and the soap dish has not moved at all and all the pulling and pushing I have done has had no effect.As promised I up my review to five stars,the stainless steel basket will not rust like the thin chrome plated ones and the two good firm removable plastic hooks are ideal for a scrunchy and a back brush. A quick wipe with a damp cloth and it looks like new. If you want a dish that will stay on your wall I recommend this one.

When I first put this up it fell down after an hour or so and I thought oh oh, this may have been a waste of money. But thought perhaps there is some buildup on the shower walls they eye can't see that did not allow the suction cup to seal properly? So used CLR and gave it an extra cleaning to make sure the surface of the tile was completely clean. And..... since then, over a week ago it has not moved, snug to the shower tiled wall.Thumbs up, works as described and looks decent too.

The dish came right on time and looks good. The instructions are clear on the box. I installed it on my first try. It felt too easy to do, but is indeed stuck tight to the shower wall. I've had it for two days and it's off to a good start. The one thing I would change is skip the plastic bag it came wrapped in inside a cardboard box. Seemed like redundant packaging.

Worked perfectly for 6 months and then wouldn't stick at all. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for the limited time it worked.
