Phosooy Ultrasonic Animal Repeller, 360 Degree Solar Powered Rodent Repeller with Motion, Repel Dogs, Wild Cat, Raccoon, Rabbit, Deer & More

ever since we had solar panels installed I've been fighting with pigeons on the roof, had tried a lot of things, the reflects that said was support to work. big ( no ) even tried putting chicken wire shoved under the solar panel heck those birds pulled it out, it was crazy. so I bought four of these for my roof, two days in have not heard them on the roof or seen them after years of dealing with this issue. side (note ) since they are solar I allowed them to charge two days outside before putting on the roof, big plus, if you take to spike off the bottom of these for the roof they fit right in the holes on the frame of solar panels, easy install or just put in the little pipe that sticks on top of all roofs.

I like that it's multidirectional. I had deer eating my flowers in a long flower border. After installing, initially I could tell they weren't raiding the border in some areas, but now, I think they've figured out that the ultrasonic sound means something along the whole border, and I'm not seeing any more zinnias being eaten, nor the sweet williams. I love the little chirping sound it makes when I walk to close.--- I purchased a 2nd one. I think the 2nd one fools the deer into thinking something is moving. I haven't had problems with deer in my flower border since installing.

5/26/2022Well I heard back from the manufacturer, and they said the the milky film on the solar panel should not have happened. They sent me a replacement without any further questions. I did not expect them to do this and am very happy. The customer service has been very good. I am giving them an extra star for their rating (back to 4 stars).5/12/2022I have had two of these for about a year now and I was going to order another one, but happened to notice that one of them has a white milky film on the solar panel. I have tried washing it off with water, but it won't come off. Since it is on the solar panel, I didn't want to use any harsh cleaners. I'm not sure, but it could be on the inside of the solar panel. This is a lot of money to spend on these if they only last a year. I have contacted the manufacturer and am waiting for their response. I will update this review once I hear back from them. I have also downgraded my review to 3 stars until I hear back from them.I bought this animal repeller about 4 weeks ago hoping that it would stop the deer from eating my landscaping plants. It seems to be working, but I still need to give it more time to be sure. Since I will be planting my garden soon, I just ordered another one. I've always had problems with raccoons eating my vegetables, so I'm hoping that this will work to stop them. I previously used chemical repellants, but it was getting very expensive and it didn't always work. So I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 stars since I'm not sure if it will work on my garden. As far as the repeller itself, I like the fact that I don't have to choose frequency or sensitivity. And you can turn off the audible sound by simply pushing a button. And since it covers 360 degrees, it means that I don't have to buy as many. But, I have found out that if you plant it to close to plants and the wind is blowing, it will set it off sometimes. That's a minor issue to me.11/2021 This is an update to my previous review. I've now had two of these for most of this year and they do work. I didn't have any animals get into my garden and they do seem to keep the deer out of my landscaping. But like I said previously, they do go off during the day when the wind blows. This seems to only happen when the sun is shining, even when they are several feet from plants and shrubs. This can be very annoying. So I have gotten used to turning them off when this happens. But in all fairness, I have found that most other brands of these animal repellers have the same problem. If it wasn't for that annoying problem, I would have given it 5 stars.

Very easy to install. I like that it is solar-powered. Just set it in your yard and forget about it. It is also somewhat water-resistant, like in rain showers or from your sprinkler. Some rodents, like squirrels, require a more aggressive deterrent, like a water jet, but this one does the job for most the others.

No need to set the mode and the ultrasonic and sonic waves emitted can drive most animals away from your area. And you can choose to turn off the sound to use just ultrasonic mode if you think the sound bothers you.

Have had a problem the last couple of years with rabbits eating my green beans shortly after they emerge. Have always lost a few to the rabbits in the neighborhood but the last 2-3 years they got greedy and would clean out most of a row. Started spraying them with liquid animal repellent and it did work but if it rained had to reapply plus it was on the expensive side. Would use about 2 quarts a season almost equal to the price of 2 of the Phosooy Repellers.Seen the Phosooy Animal Repeller and decided to give it a try. Ordered 2 of them because I have a large garden. When setting them up noticed the sensitivity of the motion detector was questionable. Ended up sending one of them back for a replacement as the sensor would not detect me when I walked around it. The replacement did detect me and my dogs. However the dogs just ignored them.The end result, did not lose one plant to the rabbits this season. Since the sensitivity is questionable to me am thinking it might be the flashing bright blue light that is flashing continuously all night long that was keeping the rabbits out of the garden as they are nocturnal critters mostly. In short, whether it was the blue light or the sound and flashing white light that kept them out of the garden, lost no plants to the rabbits this year.

We purchased this to use in our boat because rats keep finding their way in and destroying everything and making a huge, smelly mess. We checked today and there is no evidence that a rat has been in the boat now for three weeks! We are thrilled and will probably purchase another one to keep in case anything happens to the one we have.

It has worked great since we installed it. We tested on ourselves and it consistently flashes and emits a sound. We haven’t seen any deer since day 1!! And no more foliage or flowers have been nibbled thus far. Our true proof of its effectiveness!
