Games Workshop 99239999075 Citadel Battle Figure Case, Black

Bought this for my Son who spends hours assembling and painting his Warhammer army. With hundreds of dollars invested in his game pieces I figured he needed an upgrade from the Rubbermaid container he was using to transport them. Nice case, sturdy construction, foam has precut channels. Perfect for his needs.

Nice, protective case and holds a lot

This is a great case, my only complaint is one common to "one-size-fits-all" cases like this: little spikey bits will get stuck on the foam and may break if you're not careful in removing units. I used this case to store my Age of Sigmar Starter Set, and while it does fit all of the models, I had to remove one layer of foam to give the Prosecutors (wingy dudes) room enough to fit--those wings are FRAH-GEE-LEH (it must be italian).A better (and obviously more expensive) option would be custom casing designed specifically for your figures. That said, for the price, it's worth it to protect your investment.

Primaris sized miniatures fit perfect and it was exactly what I was looking for. I read on other product's reviews that their sizes were too small for primaris or 32mm sized bases. I collect wh40k so I figured I would fork out the extra cash to eliminate any future headaches. I am very pleased with this product.

This is an incredibly cheap tackle box I mean battle box. Mine came with scratches and gouges in the cheap plastic. This isn’t worth $100 in any way shape or form, maybe $25. I received mine and immediately returned due to poor quality.

We all know GW hikes prices as high as they can, and at least for their models you still get a quality product. Not so for this case.The plastic seems flimsy, with reinforced lines inside to give it a stiffer feel though you can easily apply light torque to any side and see it bend. It is about as stable as a reinforced tupperware container. The foam is, as mentioned above, a one-size fits all style that seems like it would be nice until you start using it in any manner. For the foam to be effective even slightly you have to fill up an entire tray (this has four in total, two larger ones with nested smaller ones that fit on top of them) or spread your models out evenly so they put enough pressure on the zig-zag rows to keep each other model in place. Additionally, because the zig-zag rows are off-set, the spot closest to each of the end rows can be tricky to fit models in, creating additional areas to rub the paint off your models. Finally, with none of the rows glued to the bottom (which is okay for fitting larger models in), anything other than smaller sized plastic (my deamonettes fit okay, minus the spikey bits that catch on everything - the larger plastic tyranid termigants or hormagaunts are too much for this) models will cause the bottom to buckle and give way. The glue used in the sides is just as weak, or applied in such small amounts that the sides then give way, so that the trays spill out your models. This happened with my older pewter Adeptas Sororitas as well as the lighter and smaller (but still metal) Infinity model range.As compared to the older and slightly larger GW carrying cases with the red foam, these new ones have small nubs and holes so they may be stacked with reduced chance of slipping. In those older foam trays I can carry whole pewter/metal models and sure the foam bends a bit, but none of the rows or sides pop off and I can comfortably carry each tray by the (long) sides from place to place without my models falling out or worrying about the fit being too tight during transport that it might rub some paint off.I ended up using the case with some foam from a local home improvement store (large sheets of foam are pretty cheep) and my hobby knife to make my own custom layers in this. I also picked up a very solid toolbox for ~$30 and fit an entire army into it perfectly (with the foam sheets I cut - so you have to put some effort into it).Over all, I'll keep the zig-zag sheets around until I cut them up for other padding, or give them to a friend thinking of buying one of these cheaply made things and have them see for themselves. The case is usable with different foam well enough not to return (I have 3 armies from other games in there on my own cut foam) the whole thing. I do like the smaller size.

It's actually a bit smaller than I expected it to be but I'm still pleased with it. The case itself is indeed tough and sturdy, the lining is cushiony and can hold a variety of minis. The locking mechanism is good, too.I look forward to putting it to good use and I'll probably buy more in the future.

Good product, kept models safe and secure. It can be quite awkward to store spiky models.

Great box, lightweight, exactly as expected. Bought as a present and he loves it!
