I use this for every cut that needs a bandage. I put it over the cleaned wound and then put gauze over it or a bandage. It stays moist for a couple days and when the bandage needs changing, it prevents the scab from being pulled off by the bandage.

It working for my recovery

The nurse put it on in the office, right on the ulcer, under the Unna boot. I had never seen them before. Found them on Amazon and thought they were too pricey. $52.00 for 12. I Purchased them anyway and deleted the next purchase of something not as important. I had been struggling with these smelly vena- stasis ulcers for quite a while. I purchased the 5”x9” and cut them in thirds, (cut on the fold). I saw improvement on the 4th day (1st bandage change) gross. By the 7th day, Voila, ulcers all healed up. I am so pleased. Worth every dime and more. No pain, no smelly ulcers. I wish I had discovered this dressing sooner. Wash hands REALLY good before and after.

These are an amazing wound dressing. My husband has poor circulation and gets open ulcers on his ankles. We tried everything to keep the area clean and covered but he did get an infection. The doctor used this when he bandaged it. Antibiotics and these three times a day and healed. We had battled for weeks

My husband needed something for open sores on his legs. These were easy to use and and after 2 applications, his sores were much better.

Beware. This is a definite rip off. Each dressings cost $3.33 and as far as I’m concerned he manufacturer scrimped on the bismuth/ petroleum. You can find a much better product for $1.06 /dressing. Notice the add doesn’t specify how many dressings you get - I thought they gave 100 the way they described it. Please don’t waste your money like I did
