A Child in Palestine: The Cartoons of Naji al-Ali

Naji Al-Ali with his caricatures captures the demise of the Palestinians from 1980 to now..As if time froze for those indigenous people and the images are so relevant now much more than ever. No wonder he was assassinated to shut him up. The little boy Handala is my favorite character. An observant to one Nakba after another. I don’t think Naji imagined in his wildest dreams that even Handala can be killed or bombed or removed out of the picture.
