An excellent beautifully put together small book with clear photographs and drawings
Constitutes an excellent review of the range of architecture and design associated with Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife. Images of completed commissions of buildings and interiors are of good resolution together with very informative design drawings. On top of that the descriptions relating to how designs were conceived as well as biographical details allied to the C R and Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh are excellent. Many of the illustrations are black and white, but there are a number of coloured plates and all are of good quality. The index is very comprehensive. Hard to imagine a better small book on this subject.

Useful reference material
Bought this book to use as reference for my course work. Useful for that purpose. Illustrations are much smaller than I thought they would be but then that’s down to me not looking at the size of the book before buying!

Charles Rennie Mackintosh (World of Art) - Thames & Hudson
This is a very good book, with a very good analysis regarding the work of C.R. Mackintosh. The book has got many illustrations, some of them coloured, and almost all of his architecture projects have detailed informations like plans, sections and elevations. The book also takes a close look to other disciplinary areas wich were conducted by Mackintosh, like, for example, furniture and others. This is an excelent book if anyone wants to get a general knowledge of his work.
