Novaguard Recovery Collar Canine, Toy 4-13 lbs, Head Measurement 4.3-5 inches

My dog needs a collar almost 24/7 because of skin allergies yet the e-collars were contributing to her ear infections. Gave this a shot and I give it 4 stars because it is a lot better than an e-collar, the ears get air so they don't infect from yeast or moisture and it is easier to put on and for her to move around in. But if they improved the design I would have given it 5 stars. I found that I had to tape down all the tabs or they would slip loose while she was wearig it and the section that rests under the neck and goes under the ears is a sharp plastic. I solved that problem with moleskin. But the mfg should have seen these issues. If you are willing to modify just a little bit, this collar is a lifesaver for those dogs that have skin allergies, are paw chewers and lickers and not only will it save the dog from needless tearing apart their own skin it will give the owner some peace of mind as you won't have to watch or listen every minute waiting for the dog to start on themselves again. Phew! Gives the owners a little me time and a quieter sleep time.
