EZRED - Any Wear Neck Light Green (NK15-GR)

I have had a few of the EZ Red rechargeable neck lights for at least 3 years now. I have a few of them because I keep them in different places: 1 in the camper, 1 in the barn, 1 in the doorway. I use one of them almost daily and recharge them every few days. Having your hands free is great, and you can shine the light exactly where needed. They are fantastic! They’ve finally worn down the battery, and I have no hesitation to purchase additional units. Excellent product!

The review is for the EZRED ANYWEAR Rechargeable Neck Light for Hands-Free Lighting - NK15. I've own both the EZRED ANYWEAR NK15 and the Snap On ECHDD012AR for over a month. Both are rated at 300 Lumens on the highest setting and I couldn't see any difference between the two regarding brightness on the highest setting, the NK15 has a whiter light and the Snap-On has more of a pinkish hue light, both have a similar flood beam throw pattern. The light heads on the Snap-On are slightly larger possibly because they are removable heads and will fit better in the hands with a slightly larger,longer size. I'm not a fan of the removable heads and prefer the permanent EZRED heads.The EZRED weighs 116 grams and the Snap-On weighs 118 grams. The difference is that the EZRED has a much thicker and stiffer neckband that fits tightly around my neck, this is a good thing because it stays in place and feels secure in place, the Snap-On has a much thinner neckband that has much more flex and just doesn't stay in place like the EZRED, the loose fit of the Snap-On may work better for someone with a very large neck, I'm 5'7" 180lbs and the EZRED fits my neck perfectly, I have worn the EZRED during the course of an 8 hour work day and didn't experience any discomfort.Battery Life - after 2 hours on the highest setting both neckbands emitted a good solid bright light with no noticeable dimming, after 3 hours the Snap-On was considerably dimmer than the EZRED but I was impressed with both neckbands holding a steady bright light for 2 hours.Price - I paid $80 for the Snap-On neckband and $40 for the EZRED, the Snap-On may have a better warranty but is twice as expensive, over time components may fail but right now the EZRED wins overall.

Great neck light, long battery before a charge. Great gift for anyone ( daughters new boyfriend came for the holidays and loved his gift, used it right away)

Bought primarily for working on my car, which worked perfectly. Lights lasted surprisingly long on full brightness, and the moveable heads were excellent for shining light in weird nooks and crannies in the engine bay.Biggest cons are that each side charges independently (but at least a Y cable is included), and via microUSB. The microUSB is what's most upsetting to me, because everything else I have is USB-C. If I lose this cable, I'll have to buy more microUSB cables just for this. Boo.Still a nice light, though, and fits well around my neck.

Great buy. I use these all the time. My husband also has a pair for when he’s working outside. They work amazing. Quality is great and durable. Price was great as well.

Having the light where you need it is a life saver. Headlamps seem to never get the light where you need it but this helps alot. It is a little tight around my head but it's light enough to make up for it.

Bright, lightweight work light. Seems to hold a charge for a long time. Excellent where you need a light and both hands free.

I use these for an odd situation - my dog has poor vision, and its worse at night. He wears these around his neck when he goes outside at night. They're really bright, sit on his neck just right, and he doesn't mind them at all. I don't have to recharge them very often, maybe once a month. I had the battery version of these but was changing the batteries too frequently, this is a better situation.
