Such a fun read-aloud
I love this story. Preschoolers really get it and love to engage with the story. Hysterical rhymes and illustrations. Very fun read-aloud. I used this for outreach literary visits to preschool and Head Start classes and everyone loved it.

Hilarious and so fun to read!
Book content is good, art is good, I make witchy wind whooshing voices for each iteration of the spell and funniest animal noises. BUY!

Fun book for young children - 3 to 7 or 8
I'm a preschool music teacher and will use this book with my children adding rhythm instruments, a pot and spoon and body percussion to the story. This is a fun rhyming story with a twist at the end that will appeal to 3 to 7 or 8-year-olds.

Whoops si doo!
I read books to children in grades,1,2 and three. I choose the books I buy, first of all if they appeal to me. Loved this book when I saw it on the shelf so went to Amazon and got it. It has rhythm and suspense and a cute ending. I haven't read it to them yet but I know they will just loveit!

Great book
My daughter's love this book. Great rhyming story with fun pictures. The text can be a little difficult to read on dark backgrounds.

We enjoyed this & encourages reading together
Nice little story about 3 animals who lost their sounds. An owl tells them to go to an old lady who can make a spell to get their voices back . This doesn't go quite right at 1st. The cat says woof etc. Kids like pointing out the wrong sounds & saying the right ones . Good simple repetition of some words, which encourages them to read them. Enjoyable to read to them

No mistakes with this one.
We read a lot of kids' books. My son is four and loves this one. It's one of my favourites to read. It's like a really good Julia Donaldson and then some. There's lots of onomatopoeia in this great little story. The illustrations are great too, a lovely mix of colours and fun drawings. This should be picked up for an animation, I'm available for voiceover.
