These are lovely mugs, solid, and a beautiful pattern. But there are 3 things that annoy me: 1: that the handles are made from two pieces moulded together and none of them are smooth - you can tell its two pieces. The handles are all at slightly different angles, meaning the mugs look like seconds. Also there is a substantial dip on the underside of the mig which fills up with water if you put them in the dishwasher - really annoying when everything else comes out dry! And thirdly, you need to drink your drink very quickly to stop it going cold! The size and shape of these mugs means drknks dont stay hot for long

The first time I ordered these mugs they turned up broken. Possibly not the seller's fault, but I asked for a replacement, and instead the money was refunded to my boyfriend's card - not the card it was purchased with, just the one from the email the replacement letter was printed from. So if anyone else at my work had printed the email for me I can assume that they would have been refunded my money.Now we've had a new set delivered, and to be fair they were packaged very well, much better than the first time. Unfortunately after one use, careful washing by hand, and general "they're new mugs, be careful with them", one of the mugs has developed a break all the way round the side, leaking coffee all over the table. Not impressed with the quality of these mugs for their price. I was going to order the plates and bowls to go with them but I think I will look elsewhere for something manufactured to a higher quality.

Good size, big enough for quenching a morning thirst. I like the related but different designs. Makes keeping track of whose mug is whose much easier without looking a hotchpotch. A pleasing thickness, not too fragile but also not too heavy or chunky to drink from. I put them in the dishwasher but I can't say yet how well the glaze will wear. The tops of the mugs are quite wide so take up a bit more room in the cupboard than a straight sided mug.

Solves the old tea dilemma, one cup is never enough but two is too many. These are such a nice size, really good if you like extra froth on your cappuccino. There's a nice range of plates and bowls in the same pattern all around similar prices so will likely look at getting more in this pattern. At the time I brought these the set was £45 and single mugs about a tenner so really god price too.

Love the design of these large mugs BUT I would not describe them as "Fine Bone China" as they are very thick and therefore lose heat fast. I had, perhaps wrongly, assumed fine bone china and porcelain meant thinner and more delicate. This has certainly been the case when I've bought other similarly described porcelain.
