and Rebecca Rules
I had really enjoyed the previous book about Rebecca Rafferty (The Real Rebecca), and equally enamoured with this sequel. Anna Carey manages to write a realistic teenage girl who can inspire recognition without cringing memories - no mean feat! Rebecca is a charming girl, though not without her faults, whose energy cannot be entirely quenched even by the tribulations of teenage love. I was initially sad not to see more about the band Hey Dollface, but Rebecca and her friends' experiences in their school musical more than made up for this. This is a really lovely read - it reminds me of the Georgia Nicolson books, but with even more heart.

Great book!
I think Rebecca's Rules was a great book although I don't think it was as good as The Real Rebecca. It's still very good though and I would recommend it to a friend!
