I believe the mannequin is a blend of real and synthetic hair so if youre buying this head for cosmo school or something that you need 100% real hair i don’t recommend this one. If youre getting it for learning how to braid or any non-high heat things then itd be a perfect mannequin

It felt amazing when I first opened it and had a super cute cut and style to it but after I toned it, it was very frizzy, over processed, and extremely thin at the ends. After coloring it with pulp riot, giving it a trim, and styling it with the Brazilian blowout açaí daily smoothing serum, it felt much softer and was way less frizzy. I did notice that when I was using a curling iron at a low temp, there were a few strands that melted off so it does seem to have a little bit of synthetic hair in it. I honestly can’t complain considering how much other blonde human hair mannequins are

I was able to lighten her once more for a base for some really nice pastels. The hair will need deep conditioning after this but she is a great base for all your coloring dreams! Not to mention, she is really pretty!!!

The media could not be loaded.  The hair is very out of head. Hair type is too slippery for hairstyles. And in addition, the head is parted, which makes it impossible to comb all the hair back or in the opposite direction.

I was very skeptical about this product in the beginning. I bought it for my daughter who is obsessed with styling hair. I read many reviews and had her wash the hair before getting started. The hair has been amazing!My daughter has curled it beautifully with a curling iron. She was able to put gorgeous braids in. She hasn’t colored it, so I can’t comment on coloring.One thing I will mention is that the hair is thin, but better than I expected after reading some of the reviews.The curls I have pictured have been in for weeks.Overall I am very satisfied.

I bought this head specifically for hair color and it worked beautifully!! I am a student in a cosmetology program and I needed this for a project, at first I was skeptical because I was scared it wasn't human and synthetic, and if you know anything about hair then you'll know synthetic washes right out but to my surprise the dye held ! If you are wondering what dye I used, it is called manic panic and it came out a little bit brighter than it did in the bottle but I was perfectly fine with that. Shipping was nice and quick and even though the box had a slight tear it still was in good shape. A lot of poeple are saying it sheds a lot which is expected, I did not have chunks falling out though, your average shedding for a mannequin head. If you need this for vibrant color practice I totally recommend ! It is completely 100% human hair !! Worth the money :)

I like this product but the skin stains easily and won’t come off no matter what I do, ends of the hair are a bit thin. Hair holds color nicely just wish it came with a stand. I recommend you just have to be VERY careful!

Hair is SUPER thin and definitely not the length they claim. Only the very underneath is the correct length the rest is probably about 16 inches. And to make it worse when I went to curl the hair chunks of it were literally melting and charred. This is not human hair like it claims, seems more like a very cheap synthetic human hair “blend”. Definitely not good quality.
