Good lightweight rain jacket. True to size.

I purchased this for a lightweight travel raincoat. I have a heavy raincoat I use for fishing and hunting, but wanted a reusable one to travel with. Honestly I have spent so much on ponchos at Disney World over the years, that this was my solution. I really do not like ponchos, so when I decided to buy something before my last trip I looked for a rain jacket. This cost about the same as two ponchos at Disney World, but I have easily purchased a thrown away six or seven Disney ponchos just for myself over the years.As far as durability goes, I am not really sold on that yet. Like I said the jacket felt flimsy, but it did the job and kept the rain off of me. There was no real smell to the jacket, so that was a plus.The only negative thing I have to say about the fit is that I am tall, and the while the size of the jacket was right for my girth, the length of the jacket in the torso and arms was shorter than I would have liked. I sometimes find this with other clothing but most times it is not an issue. With this jacket it was annoying.Overall, the jacket did the job and the price was right. We’ll know more about the durability and whether the value of purchasing it instead of Disney ponchos after the next time I am there and it is raining.

I bought this jacket for my husband. The fit is perfect. He loves it!

I got this jacket for my son's trip. As soon as he opened the package he found the zipper broken. The package arrived to his dorm just as he was leaving fro his trip, so there was no time for me to return it and get another one for him. He just decided to keep it and wear it with a broken zipper. I'm a little bummed because he is in a very rainy area and only has this jacket at the moment. He mentioned that everything else about the jacket is great. I just wish the zipper wasn't broken.

Plus:- Seems reasonably well made- Low price- Very thin make packing easierMinuses:- Very thin, thinnest windbreaker I've ever had. This causes the hood to not drape well when not on my head--sort of puffs up behind my neck.- Somehow things like cell phones and small keyboard blowers that fit completely inside of the pocket fall out easily when I bend over, even though the design of the pockets would suggest the opposite. For my use case this is a big negative since I bought it to wear when I do work around the house.
