Strong. But wear and tear is different from top and bottom pieced.
This is our second one. The first one has been up for two years now but I decided to buy a replacement just in case.We have our gazebo on our second story deck, it gets pretty windy up there. But this cover will not rip under strong Santa Ana winds ( gusts of 60 mph ). The color faded a little bit on the outside, SoCal, but looks fine otherwise. The netting between the first and second tiers is not so strong but we don't have issues with mosquitos or bugs.Just make sure to tie down the gazebo though. I filled the legs of ours with about 100 lbs of sand but since this cover is so strong you have to tie down the whole thing or it'll go out flying. The only thing I wish, is that I could buy the components separately. I've noticed the top cover is a bit oversized and it flaps more, while the lower cover is taught and firm. Consequently, I see more wear and tear on the top cover and I would like to just buy that piece.Recommended for sure.DIT: 2024... still going strong on our 3rd one... about to install the 4th one. They tend to last about 3 years, year round in our hard SoCal sunshine.

Excellent, perfect fit
Heavy duty. Fits nice and tight. We have had the frame for many years and this canopy is the best we have had.

glad to find replacement
i was afraid i would not be able to find the replacement; but the material is almost the same as the original. for the extra $ they charge based on "quality of material" not worth it - go with the regular stuff.

Don't recommend getting any color than beige because that is what ...
This is my second replacement cover from Garden Winds. Ordered nutmeg the first time and within 2 months it was faded to greyish beige. Don't recommend getting any color than beige because that is what it will end up as. Have it up during summer months only and store indoors otherwise. Within 2 years, tears were forming in the 350 denier Nutmeg fabric. So I ordered the 500 this time and it seems significantly stronger. Have only had it up a month so far. A Canopy Care slip included with the product says: "Prevent your canopy from premature wear! always remove your canopy from its frame when expecting harsh weather (rain, strong winds, snow) and store in a cool, dry place. Improve water drainage and prevent your canopy from sagging by adding extra grommet holes." also " Helpful tip: upon receiving your replacement canopy, spray with Scotchguard or 303 Product spray for extra protection." I wouldn't leave the canopy up during a hurricane and expect it to survive unscathed, but rain? Wind? These don't come off and go on that easily. And isn't that partly why we get canopies, to protect us from the elements? Put in extra grommet holes? Scotchguard? If the product requires these treatments to hold up to regular weather conditions, shouldn't the manufacturer provde these steps? I will update this review at the end of the season with how the 500 Ripstock version held up compared to the 350.

Great Quality
I've bought replacement canopies for over 10 years and this is by far the best quality canopy I've found. The thickness of the canvas is amazing! It fit like a glove and I was able to put it on without help!

Not as strong as it should be
I paid extra for this upgraded canopy because it assured me that it would be tougher than the original. It didn't make me happy then, when only 2 weeks after I put it up, one of the center posts poked straight through the pocket. My original canopy way lasted longer than that before having one of the corners poke their way out.Sigh. So much for getting what you paid for.Aside from that it is a nice looking cover and fits well.Message to Garden Winds: Beef up the pockets some more. They are not strong enough.

Poor Material
You have to be extremely careful in installing this canopy. The netting for the top piece is extremely fragile, it will tear easily. I don't know why they charge so much for this item when it's cheap quality.

Great description of product
After being very disappointed with other products, this one actually had the correct dimensions and has survived a few storms already.
