Really like how quiet this filter is and it works perfectly with my 10 and 20 gallon tanks.

I love these filters are great for shrimp tank. Some better thinks it’s less harmful for my beta on their fins. Also, make sure we can just climb around on it without getting sick through to another dimension. They would be to even likes to rest of them because it’s not overly crazy with bubbles or noise. I wish they were a bit smaller for some of my 5 gallon tanks but I have cut the foam on one or two of them to kind of make it fit better.

The media could not be loaded.  Been a couple weeks. Sponge filters are still going strong. I love this product. It’s a great way to have a filter for my babies.

I haven’t put them in my tank yet because they came vacuum sealed and are really weirdly shaped. There are instructions on how to get them to shape up faster, I’m just letting them sit to see what happens. 28 hours in and they’ve puffed up a little, but still not round at all.... Updated to 4 stars from 3 because I put them in a cup of water, and they took good shape in a matter of minutes. Haven't installed on filter yet though.

Works well, easy to set up, easy to clean. Not that loud I’ll say the air pump I have is more annoying than the bubbles, have gotten multiple of these for months loved them my fish are not disturbed by this sponge filter I’ll say it’s even more calmer to them and me for sound and seems to do it’s job.

I have two separate tank with these filters, both of them are stacked like the photo and I never have to clean them

Don't expect to retro fit a bubble stone in the small size it will not work. The product would also be better with a more coarse sponge. All that said, this is a good deal for a couple of sponge filters with bonus tubing and accessories.

Much better than over the back filters. Well made and easy to clean. Would definitely recommend

I have 2 medium sized filters in a 29 gallon and they are working well. I modified them so I could put an air stone inside them to make smaller bubbles so it would be quieter. The only disappointment is that the sponge the filters are made from is a very fine foam, I wish it was more coarse.

It works great and the 2 pack gives great value. The filters sink well once the sponge is soaked and the foam can be powered with just a USB bubbler. The air tubing pieces included in the kit are higher quality too- I have these on the left and ones from a different kit on the right.

The filter works great. I was hoping for a sponge that was more coarse (30ppi). It’s not the only filter in my tank so it’s doing a fine job.I was also hoping for the ability to connect an air stone inside to create finer bubbles but it is not designed to allow such add ins.Good value for the price though! And if you squeeze and release the sponge under the water to get the air out, the base will keep it down just fine.

Used them for my 5.5 gallon betta tanks, they both work great, I rinsed them out as always with new aquarium supplies and I don’t use the clear plastic tube ment for the top of the sponge filters. They have a weight at the bottom and all you have to do for ANY sponge filter to properly sink is while in water squeeze filter by hand this will release trapped air and your filter will sink… they have been in the tanks for over a week and works perfectly
