In contrast to "Paprika" and "Perfect Blue", this film doesn't tap into the surreal as his other films yet keeps it grounded with its human characters in a genuine way. His handling of the main characters being homeless (some by choice) tackles its subject point blank while retaining its humanity. Learning each of thier stories reinforces the holiday timeframe about the importance of gratitude. The measures the characters went through for the infant to find its parents can be a tear jerker I wasn't expecting. A worthy addition to collect and aptly fitting to get around Christmas.

Finally able to complete my Satoshi Kon collection. Video and audio quality is brilliantly restored. The extras are nice. The film is a beautiful story, quite different than the surrealism of Kon's other films, but it stands among his greatest.

Finally an English dub to one of my favourite films of all time

Muy buena película, siempre sera muy emotiva verla en época navideña, se las recomiendo mucho, con respecto al envió llego muy rápido, antes de lo esperado, gran servicio. Lo grandioso de esta versión es que viene con un protector con la misma portada, abra que comentar que esta hablada en japones e ingles, y trae subtitulo en Español, pero vale mucho la pena, ademas viene en formato DVD y Bluray.
