When our lives changed in March, I vowed to send at least one postcard a day to loved ones. I already had a healthy stash after years of doing Postcrossing but, after going down the online auctions rabbit hole to supplement my collection, I was faced with the fact that random shoe boxes were no longer the most efficient way to sort and store the postcards...Enter these classic boxes. First, they are not mottled with green as in the photo but, rather, a soft black. They're very strong with a reinforced front and back. The metal tightening mechanism is excellent for stopping the cards' shifting which is especially helpful for fragile 19th-century postcards.Smead makes the perfect tabbed dividers.

This is a huge box that fits a good amount of cards and I love the holder inside because it keeps my index cards in place while the box isn’t nearly close to full.

Very sturdy. I will purchase additional boxes as needed. I’m using them to store 4x6 photos in. I also purchased tabbed index cards that I’m using to indicate the year.The boxes came in perfect condition.

The box does everything you would want. However, it is not the color shown in the pictures. I know the description days black/white and I can't believe I didn't notice that - but nobody looks at that picture and thinks black and white. It looks teal. It's functional, but I'm a bit disappointed.

I use for a recipe box. Holds 4x 6 cards easily And The adjustable metal clip at the back keeps cards together. Just what I needed. I recommend this product highly.

Very happy with this product. It's fairly sturdy and feels solid. Being made of cardboard, I don't expect it to last forever, but I imagine I'll at least get a few years out of it. I don't expect more for the price. I also purchased and returned the similarly priced Globe-Weis/Pendaflex index card box (it was damaged on delivery) and am very happy I chose this one instead. It seems like a superior product.

Great quality box. Bought this to store index cards that I am using to study for my graduate program, keeps them well-organized and in one, concrete place. Like the way it looks also, and can stack or store it in my bookcase or closet when not in use.
