I ordered two of these. (returned ones I must add) I was curious about these bladders from the advertising and about half of the reviews were genuinely positive while half were not so positive. I decided because it was cheaper to purchase returned ones I would take the risk, and I found that the problems with leaking were definitely present. The weak area is not at the cap or around the seams of the bladder, but where the drinking tube disconnect is at. Around the disconnect I put some black RTV silicone, the 3L did not need as much at the 2L. You should expect you're more likely to get a leak from the 2L. Once it had a good layer all around over the seam they have not leaked water and remain air tight.The other issue with leaking reported was with the cap. That is entirely an issue with not tightening it down tight enough. I've tested that over and over. If you tighten it down tight enough it will not leak from the cap.I received one with the bite valve, and the other without. This was no problem as I have a few of those lying around. Other Bite Valves WILL work with the drink tube but take a little force. As for the one I received with the bite valve I also found that the plastic connection for the bite valve cover is prone to breakage, because as I received it was snapped. I cut it off, filed down the plastic, and put a hole in the top tap cover tab to slip some embroidery thread through and tied it off. Now it works kind of like a Source Bite valve. The valve that comes with these are nice and soft with a clever lock mechanism. I genuinely like it, it's much better than the one I put on the other bladder.These bladders are OKAY, once fixed at the tube attachment area they really are quite functional and can take some decent punishment. I haven't put them through too rigorous testing like standing on them (Which I DO NOT recommend with any bladder, especially this one) but they hold up fine. Have not had any leakages. Hose attached and detached it remains air and water tight. They're easy to clean because of the wide mouth opening, easy to fill with the handle, and it's easy to blow air back into them. I think they work fine as a secondary water source, but I would not depend on it for your main source of water. I noticed a slight taste from them, not the worst I've experienced. So, if you're a serious backpacker who takes multiple bladders I would relegate this to holding cooking water.

8.5 hours of band camp in 93degrees feels like 101 and there is still ice in the bottom of the water bladder!!! We had a slight problem with one of the bladders(small pin hole near fill up) but it was replaced same day!! Can not brag enough about this product!!

Buying from pictures can leave you with some buyers regret once you receive the product. This was smaller than one I was replacing and the mouth piece is 2 steps to drink so you can only use while stopped. Not there fault as I would have caught these issues in person.

I had high hopes for this product considering the other reviews that I read, but I am disappointed. I had ordered 2 (1 for myself and 1 for my husband) and we have both had issues with the bladder or hose leaking. A quality, outdoor product like this should not leak after only 2 months of use. I will not buy again.1. Because the water bladder nipple cover ripped right off.2. The actual nipple leaks causing things to get wet, and3. The connection between the hose and the actual bladder is not very secure and comes loose inside my bag causing the contents to get soaked.
