The main centerpiece, the 2-story hide, has some issues. Namely that the second story is literally impossible to clean and will result in it having to be thrown out eventually. Additionally, this hide can only be washed in cold water (not exactly effective) because even lukewarm water will melt the glue holding it together and cause it to fall apart. So while it is super adorable and my mice loved it, sadly I would not say it's worth the money because you'll need to throw it out in a few weeks.As for the add-ons, the rope toy is okay, the bendy bridge is awesome and a staple in my enclosure, and the other wooden toy does have to be thrown out due to having a bell inside of it that can damage their eardrums.

Bought this for our rat! She loves that it’s big enough to stick pile toys in and small enough to get the den feeling.

Purchased this because my mice are climbers and needed more enrichment in their tank. They took to this house very quickly and love climbing all over it. Not sure they will use the added chew toys but it's a nice add on.

Cute little house. Needs serious sanding on the inside because of splinters. Hamster chewed through dowel to get to bell on day one.

Great little house for small animals. The quality isn't all that great but it's for mice and so far, they haven't ruined it or anything. They LOVE it !!!

As a new hamster owner, I wasn't thinking about it eating or gnawing everything to pieces. I feed it (well) and keep apple sticks and other products for gnawing, but mine would rather gnaw on the house and other items in this kit.
