Export Drive: BMC & British Leyland Cars in Europe and the World

Riveting read. It is well written, clearly lays out and delves into the Austin/Morris/BMC/BLMC machinations. The conventional view of poor product/bad management/mad unions has been eschewed in favour of a much more nuanced view also encompassing governments, EEC, fiscal policy and global economic trends.

Excellent and interesting read. Extensive research, well compiled. My only criticism would be about the print quality, the usually interesting photos are rather hard to interpret.

Really superb book, outstanding full of facts and information. There are few books available on this subject but this one delivers all thats needed. Fully recommend it

A good read. Gives an insight into the fiasco that was British Leyland.

2nd book I have read by Chris Cowin and this was as good as the first. It highlights the seemingly endless strategic mistakes of BMC/BL

Having read this author's previous book about the history of British Leyland, this next interesting volume grabbed my attention just as much. Thoroughly researched and clearly explained.
