ZWILLINGENFINIGY electric kettle 1.5 L 1850 W Black

Had to replace my three years old Bosch kettle that started leaking water. After quite long consideration and reading one star feedbacks from UK buyers complaining about the plug top (it is EU style NOT UK, so please consider calling an electrician) I have ordered this Zwilling kettle without hesitation. Overall well thought and made, good materials and eye catching strict but stylish finish. Super quiet. Stainless steel inside, even the lid has stainless steel bottom and the lime scale filter also. Feels lovely in hand. Because of double walled construction, this kettle is not hot to touch outside even right after boiling water. No water gauge outside, so you have to keep an eye on the mark inside it, which is strange a bit, okay for me however. My personal impression about this kettle is very positive. However buyers from Ireland and UK must consider changing the plug top for UK type one. Luckily I'm qualified, so have it done by myself.

This is the most expensive kettle I've ever bought and the absolute slowest. 1L takes over 5 mins to boil. Complete style over substance. This also came with a non UK plug so I returned and bought direct from Zwilling but wish I hadn't, I've been using the £10 asda one the builders were using before we moved in while this sits gathering dust

WHY are they still selling this in the UK with EU plugs and there doesn't seem to be a UK version as an option. NOW either send it back or put on a UK plug and void warrenty.---AMAZON EU PLEASE TAKE NOTE---Under the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994, it is a criminal offence to place on the market or supply in the UK an appliance which is not fitted with either (i) a UK 3-pin plug, or (ii) a non-UK plug permanently fitted with a UK safety-approved conversion plug. It is not enough, for example, to provide a 3-pin plug adapter or to make the origin of the appliance clear on the product detail page. A loose adapter in the box in which the product is supplied is not sufficient. Possible sanctions for breach are fines and/or imprisonment.

For anyone looking for a plastic-free kettle, this one has plastic at the spout so you can’t pour without pouring boiling water through plastic every time. It also came with an EU plug so useless.

Non UK plug, useless

Looks and feels like designer quality, but the boil takes a little too long, apart from that nice kettle! Looks like a designer item in our kitchen, we got the matching long slice toaster is is also quality

Shipped with a non-UK plug so cannot be used. Now have the hassle of returning it...

This has a European style two pin plug-not good for those in England.

Schönes Design, funktioniert perfekt, gute Qualität

Sin alardes. Su diseño ya me parece un punto lo suficientemente diferenciador frente al resto de calentadores de agua.

It's very sleek look (exterior and interior).Super quiet (had to check it was on at first)!

Das Gerät sieht schick aus, funktioniert einwandfrei. Durch die doppelte Wand verfrüht man sich nicht, auch wenn das Wasser gerade gekocht hat. Das Gerät schaltet sich schnell ab. Je nach Füllmenge ist er unterschiedlich schnell. Bis 1 l geht es recht fix, bei Maximum braucht er 5 min. Positiv die große Öffnung und bei unserem kalkhaltigen Wasser verkalkt er bei weitem nicht so schnell wie der Vorgänger. Die Lautstärke empfindet wohl jeder anders. Für unsere Ohren angenehm. Der alte hat bei Verkalkung regelrecht gebollert. Das tut dieser nicht.

Tiene una línea discreta, todo inoxidable y su exterior no quema al tacto. Busqué evitar plástico y el vidrio. Tampoco hace ruido, algo que se agradece en una cocina. Puedes calentar el agua y usarlo como un termo en la mesa. Satisfecha con la compra.
