We have used HP for our servers at our store for years and I always say that when it comes to computers, get the best you can afford.We have our server set up in RAID configuration, which means that the information is saved in such away across multiple hard drives so that should a drive fais, no information is lost. We also keep an additional hard drive in the configuration so that it will automatically switch over to it should a drive fails, which we have had happen at times, and this was one of those times.We decided to upgrade our drives in size and speed at the same time. This meant we need to order at least four new drives (plus one more for a spare). This was our drive of choice, so we ordered four to arrive next day and another with slower and less expensive shipping, especially since it meant that a drive of a different size instead of just loading it for a back-up, you put the new one drive in and wait a couple of days before you put another one in. This is because RAID takes time to get it set it up and then we like to run it long enough that we feel it is OK, before put another into the RAID then wait couple more days until all four are up and running, then we put the fifth back-up drive in.We have been very happy with HPs quality and customer service in the past, which is why we continue to use them as our computers of choice.

I used this to replace a failed drive in an aging server. Transition was smooth, and it has been working like a champ ever since.

This item arrived on time and functions properly but it was advertised as new.After inspecting the smart statistics of the drive, I found it had been in use for 44600 hours.

I replaced the old failed drive with the new 300GB SAS drive that I received . The new drive came right up and the raid array started rebuilding. All is well !!

Llegó muy bien en tiempo.El disco tienen errores que no nos permitieron hacer uso de él. Lo acabé desechando.
