I use these to protect the knots from my sliding lead sinkers when catfishing. They work amazingly well, they are soft not hard like the hard plastic beads. Great price too.

These beads are awesome for protecting your swivel. Any bottom rig setup I used to use plastic, then I wondered, not being as physicist, if it would make a difference on protecting the knot connecting your swivel. I would experience break off with traditional plastic beads when snagging quite a bit, now I always get my swivel and weight slider back with a snag. They are great all sizes are awesome, would be nice if they had a picture in the description to show you the difference in size. Included picture is an 8-ft sturgeon that I caught. Always fishing very current snaggy areas and I save all my gear 90% of the time compared to traditional plastic beads.

These do sink which is good for my application of fishing with them. The soft bead allows you to push the eye of the hook just inside the bead if you want. You can also rig with a small metal ring and do the same.
