Nylon and Leather Working Dog Harness for Protection and Tracking - Redline K9 (Medium)

I ordered this harness for my dog in medium, but unfortunately I had to return it because it was too large, but the seller was great about it. Before I ordered I checked the sizes, measured my dog, and asked the seller a question about the size. The seller was very kind and told me that it would size down enough to fit her based on the girth measurement. From just trying it on my dog and trying to adjust it to fit her, it seems to be very well made and durable. The color of the first photo makes the leather look a bit brown, but it is actually black. The only thing I didn't like about it (aside from that it didn't fit), was that all of the adjustable straps had open ends on them, that slipped out if they weren't tight enough--maybe that's just how this kind of harness is, I'm not very knowledgeable about this kind of harness--you just have to fit it well and make sure nothing is too loose on the dog. Also, I had all of the straps sized down as tight as they would go and this left a bunch of loose straps ends hanging everything (maybe you're supposed to cut them off). If you don't mind the loose ends and your dog is large enough, I think this is a great harness for the cost and the seller is wonderful to deal with. I think that min-max measurements for each measurement (girth, neck/collar, length) of each size would be useful for this listing.

I've just started scent work/tracking with my 5 yr old Doberman bitch. I measured her carefully before ordering this harness. The harness definitely runs large. Even tightening the straps as much as I could, it was still too big for her. Luckily, it fit her son perfectly! So I'm keeping the XL for him and have ordered an L for her. Looks to be VERY well made. He will also be doing scent work/tracking so I don't need to return anything. I would definitely recommend this product - just be prepared that it runs large.

Well constructed, heavy harness. It's a bit big for my slender Springer, but it is usable. The company was wonderful to deal with and the price is right.

Works well for my dog in training for tracking. Very sturdy.
