Really Easy to Use and So Much Storage
So I wasn’t quite sure how this was going to work but it ended up being really simple. I plugged the adapter cord in and plugged it in the power outlet. I then took the computer cord and plugged it to the computer, this was to reformat the device (there is instructions in the manual) but it turned out it was already good to go. So since I bought this to solely backup my pictures on my iPhone I took out the cable for the iPhone and plugged it to my phone. I was prompted to download the app, Photo Bank. I looked for this app before hand and wasn’t able to find it so I was happy when it prompted me to download the app upon plugging my phone to the storage device. One the app was downloaded I could easily go in my device through the app and choose what I wanted to save and save it. I was able to make folders on the storage device to easily organize my pictures and videos. It is actually very simple to use. The instructions helped some but what helped me the most was the prompts thee are r appeared after plugging my phone in. Before using this device I was saving photo to a free Photobucket account which I had filled up and no longer had any free space. I was able to take everything I had saved to Photobucket online and put it into this storage device. And I still have TONS of space left on it. I plan on backing up all my husbands photos and videos too in the near future. Oh, I was also able to save all my telephone contacts on the storage device too, which is a pretty neat feature. I would 100% recommend this device. It’s is 100% easier than plugging your phone to your computer and starting up iTunes and saving your pictures to your computer then sending them to a storage device...which is tedious. This is super easy and super fast.

Worked great for 5 months
It’s not working now. It could be because of the update which I haven’t installed on my phone yet. But I can get access to to hard drive or store anything on it anymore. It seems like it will not connect, however it does charge my cell phone. When it did work, it worked perfectly.

DONT BUY IT PLEASE
hey! so I bught this thing because I wanted to transferred all my '2020' photos from my phone to this disk because I had no capacity and space left . it worked the first time ( a little slow process and hard to use) but whatever it worked . THEN I wanted to looked back at the photos and I needed one specific photo that I upload it there .And this didn’t worked 😃 , it just won’t let me access the disk and basically all my photos and videos + notes are gone . i plugged and unplugged and NOTHING . it won’t let me access them .please never ever ever purchase this , it’s literally trash and it just don’t work . it’s expensive and you are gonna just throw your money . I had so many memorable memories saved in that thing and it’s horrible that I lost them all , I’m very sand and VERY angry because I can’t even return it because my photos are still there ( regardless if I can reach them or not ) .I don’t want anyone to have the same mistake I did please consider this before purchasing this trashy thing .

Poorly made
The diskk is good but it’s cheaply built ☹️ $135? C’mon man that’s a lot for something that’s made out of cheap plastic. I’ll give it a 2 out of 5 for build quality. Not the best but it does quite the storage so I’m good on that but the price is too high! Maybe if it were to be i don’t know $80? For it would’ve been more reasonable for it.

It is supposed to work with iPad 2, but I can not get to connect to the iDisk Player app
I have not decided yet, but I may return it if I can not figure out how to get it to connect to my iPad 2. I would love to transfer wedding photos from my iPad 2 to the iDiskk Photo Drive. I also thought that it was an SSD external drive, but seems to be an HDD external drive.
