Check for hips area for baby and weight
Its good and very easy to wear but issue is that its for tiny babies only.. cannot be use for babies after 7-8 months or with a 7kg weight. The hips area is also not so comfortable for the baby

My baby and I love it!
I bought the mini because I don’t think I’ll be carrying for long time when she’s above 11 kg! My daughter is now 2 months old and loves sitting in the babybjorn carrier versus the wrapping one i had.. it’s easy to use and wash but i wish there was a protector i can put so i dont have to wash it everytime i use it because my daughter throws up alot!

Initial experience very good! but baby must be >3.2kg
My wife and I have been using this for 24h. Our initial experience have been very positive! We have a 1month old baby who wants to cling on to us all the time. We have tried the soft sling but it was very fiddly and the baby didn't like it.This product is a godsend. I can now type on the keyboard, do some reading, or some (very light) housework with the baby sound asleep in this carrier. The carrier is very easy to put on, and required only 10mins of me reading the manual. It is also machine washable! There are some disadvantages though:1. It's not cheap2. Baby cannot be too small - the lower limit of the official manufacturer guidance is 3.2kg. Our baby is on the smaller side, and we found that we had to really pull our carrier tight in order to keep him snug.3. The head guard is a little fiddly - if I pull it too tight the fold might be too close to my baby's face. So I had to really adjust it/fold it down so that it doesn't obstruct my baby's airway.Note that this product is not on the 'Hip Health Products' list of the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. It might be because the product is quite new. We found that our baby's hip when in the carrier is in a good 'M' position though so i think it's fine.Overall this product is awesome, and I think worth every penny.I would recommend everyone who wants to try baby wearing to read up on the 'TICKS' baby sling safety tips first.

Fantastic newborn sling
I can’t rate this highly enough, an absolute godsend in the early weeks and months with a newborn! Yes it is slightly more expensive than other options but it’s been worth every penny. Having never been a fan of slings/carriers in the past - I struggled with the traditional sling style and didn’t like the ‘practical’ look of carriers. This is a perfect mix of the two- goes on like a carrier (easy to do by yourself in about 5 seconds) and as soft and comfortable as a sling, my little boy is so comfy in it. Size wise it’s been perfect as it’s a smaller, cosier style sling - other larger alternatives I found can swamp baby. The back panel can be folded down as baby grows and can support their head fully so will certainly last a long time yet. Plus, it’s lovely to look at, looks and feels like a quality product. Love it!

No support for baby
Of all the things we bought for our newborn this was by far the worst. There is no proper support for their head or back so they end up slumped in a ball against your chest as they're still too little to hold their head up themselves. You can even see this happening in the picture advertising it. This means you have to constantly check that there is space for them to breathe as they are either squashed up against you (if you pull the buckles tight, as instructed) or falling forward. It's not very comfortable for them to be carried about all scrunched up like that - every time we tried to put our baby in it she would start to cry because she was so uncomfortable. We ended up having to semi-support/carry her in it which defeats the whole purpose of a carrier. I also found it hard on my back. A very expensive mistake.

Nice material but falls between two stools - go for the One instead
Bought this as our baby was tiny when born, and this seemed to be the only carrier suitable for little babies. However, I still felt the baby collapsed too much in the carrier so we returned it and used a wrap instead, which suited our needs better. We did buy the Baby Bjorn One though, and that has been a fantastic alternative to the wrap since our baby has gotten a bit bigger. It’s easy to take on and off, and gives good support. The Baby Bjorn Mini may be equally good, but given how quickly the baby grows into the One, I’d say it was better to go straight for the One so you get more use out of it, and have a wrap instead early on.

Pricey but worth it
This is a great hybrid between a sling and a carrier for young babies. It's more comfortable to wear than a sling (for mum and dad), and the soft carrying material is also comfortable for baby, more so than a carrier. It's very easy to put on and take off, and the structure ensures that baby's back is in a good position. I'd also say mum and dads posture is better when wearing this vs. a sling. I feel confident our baby is fully safe and secure in this which gives me the freedom of both arms to get things done. We bought this when our little one was 3 months old and I wish we had bought it earlier. There is extra material under the 'seat' which can be easily adjusted into the carrier as your baby grows. It says the carrier is suitable for 0-12 months and I think that's relatively accurate - 10 months is probably more realistic. My little one is 6 1/2 months, tall but slim (40th percentile) and I can see us using this until 10 months but I think after that we will be onto the next size carrier. It's pricey but worth it.
