I lost 5 strokes off my handicap. This is a must have.

Misleading bundle purchase
They fail to tell you that this is the previous generation Link and Smart Sensors. If you want the latest technology, purchase them individually.

Always dropping and shutting down when needed.
To complicated for me, I was always concentrated on the toy and not my golf.

Works great when it actually does what it is designed to do.
So far, I've worn the Link on my belt or on my forward pocket. From tee to green, it might pick the drive up and maybe the first putt. Maybe. It misses approaches a lot, though! Sometimes it doesn’t register anything. Sometimes, according to this device, I make Albatrosses, Eagles, and Aces! (I'm a 16 handicap. Those words aren't really even in my golf vocabulary. Yet.)Anywhats, I played the same course twice in three days. The first day it registered most of the holes (about 14 of 18) and even that day it would miss approaches and putts. At the end of the round, it showed that I shot a minus 20!)Today it missed more than half of the round. It registered, at most, two strokes per hole on holes 1 thru 4, but didn't assign the strokes to any hole. Then, when I decided to manually "play hole", it asked me if I wanted to add the previous unassigned shots to the hole. (I misunderstood that to mean it would assign the shots to the previous holes. Nope.) When I tapped "yes", it added all of the shots to that one hole! I didn't know how to move the shots again, so I had to delete them so I could play the hole.It was very frustrating, and worse, distracting to have to wonder if this device was actually doing what I paid for it to do. (As if golf is hard enough already.)And, for the record: Yes, I've made sure that the device's microphone is not covered. After three rounds of disappointment, I am considering returning it. I will use it again probably tomorrow but I am not optimistic that this device will be with me after that.UPDATE:I LOVE THIS DEVICE!! If you're a data addict like I am, you'll probably love it, too!I was a little quick with my first review. During the next few rounds of golf after that post, I have been very impressed by the ease with which the device finds the course, connects with my clubs, tracks my shots, and records my strokes gained/loss stats. It still misses the occasional shot or putt (which I make sure to manually input) but the caddie system has been making really good club suggestions and does a great job overall.I hope that Arccos finds a way to add launch monitor info to the link/caddie system. (Don't know if that's possible and I won't hold my breath.)All that said, I have recommended it to my golf buddies.

don't work often
These don't work. I spent a few rounds just fighting them. Tech support always had an answer but the problem was never fixed.

Arccos is good, The link is a waste
I purchased this direct from Arccos. I thought the link was their primo device. It isn’t worth the money. I’ve got one if anyone wants it. I use my Apple Watch and it doesn’t miss a shot. I like the system but don’t waste money on the link. Thats $150 I could have used to play golf.

Seriously... who does this work for?
Bought the full meal deal of the sensor and the club inserts diretly from Arccos last Christmas. Nearly $300.00. I have played about ten rounds with them (I need to play more...) and this system has not worked a single time. Some issues I have found are that it simply doesn't know when you have hit a ball, putting rarely tracks at all, let alone correctly, and the sensor itself is a serious pain to work with. There is no on/off switch (you have to press and hold the button for a random amount of time) and there is no way to know when it is charging as there are no lights on it when it charges, but boy oh boy does this little thing get hot. You can charge it then use it as a hand warmer for a few minutes on a cold morning. It randomly shuts off during a round with no notice so you have no idea it isn't tracking anymore. The only solution for the shot tracking is to fiddle with your phone after every hole to add or remove shots... and let's face it - who wants to play with someone holding things up as they play with their phone after every shot/hole? Adding a shot is not easy, navigation in the app is not easy, and heaven forbid you choose the wrong course if you are playing somewhere with multiple courses. The is no "wait, I chose the wrong course" option. You have to end the round and start again - which is not intuitive. I have also found that my home course - which has three courses - one of them never shows up until I am on the second or third hole. When it does work, it is nice to see how far your shots went, but the inability to track every single shot consistently really makes this system a toy and not something that will help you with your game. Oh... one last thing, the sensors are not very secure when you screw them into your grip. After having three of them fall off in the bottom of my bag, I had to wrap each with electrical tape to keep the sensors from falling off. Your mileage may vary of course, but if you are considering buying this system, I really feel you should think about what you are trying to accomplish, your play style, etc.
